Hi Friend! Thanks for the post and I know the Chick-Fil-A’s down here in the Sunshine state were packed too! Our Florida Family Action Centers are making every Wednesday Chick-Fill-A day for the lunchtime food for the phone banking volunteers!

Doing a Maryland Freeper Ping to maybe hear about more on the street great reports from the rather Liberal state of Maryland.

Hi, yourself! Glad you had a good CFA Appreciation Day.

Avoiding the inevitable crowds, I ordered from the CFA website in the morning — a couple of toy stuffed cows, some “Eat Mor Chikn” refrigerator magnets, and a couple of mugs.

I went to CFA at 9:15 at night for dessert. Even though our branch closes at 10 pm, the store still contained 50 people seated and about 15 in line, and a line of 20 cars outside. Everyone was being super polite, like at Christmas time. Had a nice peach shake.

Unlike many of the Europeancentric photos posted earlier today, the crowd was about half blacks (our area is about 2/3 white and 1/3 black). Lots of families with children having some nice snacks before bedtime.

I went to CfA in Germantown Maryland (drove up from work near Shady Grove) today for lunch at around 11 AM. The drive through was already swamped, even that early. There were two queues forming to go through the single drive-through line. Looked inside the restaurant and it was already in sardine-can mode with more and more people streaming in.

Went to CfA in Laurel Maryland for a shake after going to the gym (no, I don’t normally do that, but today is CfA day, after all). 8 PM. There was, even at that late hour, a drive thru queue that went 1-1/2 times around the building. The inside of the restaurant was pretty full, as well (looked like about 4-6 people deep at the registers). In chatting with the gal at the drive thru, it was obvious they were slammed all day (she was so tired, she asked if I wanted any catsup with my shake).

The Chick-Fil-A in Elkton was quite busy last night. About a 20 minute wait in the drive-thru line and the walk-in line was almost the length of the building. This was about 7:30 last night.

The Cecil County Patriots were there with a good number of signs for Harris and Bongino! Lots of thumbs up for them.

Went to the Owings Mills location around 1pm. The line of cars to the mall (and mostly extending into chickfila) was out to the road; I had to wait a light cycle to get in. I decided to park away from chickfila to avoid the mess. Fairly chaotic. Ordered in 10 minutes, took 10 minutes to get the order. As I waited the line grew and was wrapping around the restaurant. Everyone was happy, the police came in to look around and were smiling. There were people of all ages there, those in pastor shirts. It was so busy I was ready to split with my order.

At the CFA in Frederick, I sat in the drive-thru for an hour last night waiting to pick up a milk shake. The crowd in the parking lot was joyous and positive.

The milk shake was great, and the wait time was well-spent. I listened to Mark Levin on the radio :)

...the rather Liberal state of Maryland.

^^^
We have that reputation, sadly, because of the make-up of our state legislature, but the majority of our citizens lean conservative in many ways, I suspect, but, unfortunately, we have heavily populated pockets of Rat voters who get to pick for the rest of us.

For example, our horrendous governor supports redefining marriage and homo “marriage” has been declared legal without any real input from the electorate. But some dedicated volunteers sought signatures so that a referendum could be used to defeat this absurd decree in the 2012 election. I am happy to report that their efforts turned in more than twice the number needed. Sorry, I don’t have the figures, but I know that the response was phenomenal.

There are some in the state GOP who hold out hope that blue Maryland will be turned red in the near future.
