In other words, Cathy is practicing free speech, free association, pursuit of happiness on his own dime. He's not running anti-gay TV ads, he's not refusing gays service at the restaurants, and he's not refusing to hire homosexuals.

Focus on the Family, for example, works against the homos trying to redefine homosexuality as not against the Bible or God - "Revisionist Gay Theology"), and other things. Sounds more like FOTF is defending itself and its beliefs rather than "attacking" homos. I have to assume that the homos take offence at the slightest bit of pushback, even if someone is just defending their beliefs (we are "intolerant and hateful" when we defend our beliefs).
Maybe this is what we should focus on - that we are entitled to our beliefs, too, and the Left is intolerant of us!
