Yes, it is indeed significant. This type of thing is not common for New Jersey.

Nice to feel encouraged for a change, instead of defeated.

I was at the Paramus Park Mall CFA, too. The video was taken earlier in the day than when I was there, but the line still went down that hallway when I arrived around 8:50 p.m.

I posted an AAR on another thread:

I went to the CFA in the Paramus Park Mall, Paramus, NJ. I arrived at the mall around 8:40 pm. The food court is on the upper level. As I was ascending the escalator I saw (part of) the line and thought it wasn't too long. It was on the other side of the upper level. As I approached what I thought was the end of the line I noticed that it turned twice and entered the hallway behind the stores! It went down to the end of the first hallway, turned the corner and continued about halfway down the next hallway. It was 8:50 pm when I reached the end of the line.

As I was waiting in line more than one person who had earlier waited in the line came back to see how it was going after their meal. They said it took them about 1.5 hours to get to the front of the line. The wife of one couple that came back counted approximately 550 people in front of me. The mall closed at 9:30, but CFA said they would try to serve everyone in line. Shortly after I made it to the end of the line, the mall security stopped others from getting in line.

Some of us near the end of the line wondered if there would be any food by the time we got to the cashiers. The security guy at the end of the line said that CFA received a large delivery yesterday. It sounds to me like they were prepared for today. As the others had said, it took about an hour and a half to traverse the line and place my order. The last person in line had placed and received their order around 10:30 p.m. After which a round of applause erupted. I, as well as others in line behind me, had never been to a CFA. Some came from all over NY state. Earlier in the day Fox News had been there.

FWIW, I ordered the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich, a small order of fries, a peach milkshake and a large unsweetened iced tea (for later). I concur with many positive reviews about the food. For fast food it was very good. I tend to avoid fast food these days, but I will make a point of visiting the other CFA stores in NJ. Mmmm, can't wait.

Not just civilized people. I was amazed by the number of young people in line yesterday. And even more inspiring, while they didn’t stay, more people showed up, and left due to the lines. But those staying were not angry or upset. Behind me in a car was a young man, maybe early 20s. Unbelievable number of young parents with newborn babies.

The local CFA (Jackson TN) sold out in the afternoon. The traffic was gridlocked in the area. I seriously doubt any gay kissers will be there tomorrow

Thanks for the post! It was a pretty amazing experience being there yesterday wasn’t it? My only regret is that we didn’t think to go up and down the lines and ask if anyone was a veteran so that we could move them to the front of the line. I am sure that noone in that nice crowd of people would have objected! We also should have started a couple of good USA chants. Well, next time we will be better prepared. This was the report I posted last night on another thread:

I just got back from the CFA in the Paramus Park Mall in New Jersey. It was a nice, ahem, leisurely 50 mile drive in rush hour traffic each way, but boy was it worth it! There where thousands of nice, polite, motivated people who waited on line for about an hour to make their point and buy some delicious chicken sandwiches. To everyone’s credit, I did not see anyone balk at the line, or get on line and then leave. I met some very nice conservative people who were there to support Mr. Cathy’s First Amendment Right’s and to show the liberals and Obama that we have had enough of this crap! It really was encouraging to see so many like-minded people spontaneously mobilized for a common cause. As someone on line said: We came for chicken sandwiches and a Sweet Tea Party broke out!

I'll do you one better:

In Erie PA, I saw EVERY major race represented while I was in line, including a car with an Obama 2008 bumper sticker, as well as age, sex. There were NO complaints about waiting, and NO reported incidents. There were license plates from New York, PA and Ohio, and even one from New Jersey.

I went inside during lunch(had to park a block away and had no time to wait 45 mins at lunch time), but I did notice the restrooms were clean, and everyone was clearing their OWN tables.

Oh, and one more thing: Here are my photos from Erie(finally): http://goodknightmedia.com/erie/

This type of thing is not common for New Jersey.

Especially in the Pair-a-moose area :-)

Also of note is that Paramus is in Bergen County, and Bergen County still has Blue laws. Restaurants are exempt from the Sunday close, but Chic Fil A still closes on Sunday anyway..

Not to bring politics into this, but I bet 90% of these folks share our views here...

They are ticked and impassioned.

This Uber Liberal NJ. I got my head handed to me here when I asked can we get 60 in the Senate? Why? Because Menendez is in trouble against Kirollo's for the NJ Senate Seat.

If NJ isn't a claxon screaming we are gonna win big I don't know what is.

Go Boldly towards November, they are not gonna know what hit them the day after, it will make 2010 and 1994 look like a garden party...
