Employers Add 163K Jobs as Unemployment Rate Increases to 8.3%

U.S. employers in July hired the most workers in five months, but an increase in the jobless rate to 8.3% will probably keep expectations of additional monetary stimulus from the Federal Reserve intact.

Nonfarm payrolls rose 163,000 last month, the Labor Department said on Friday, beating economists expectations for a 100,000 gain. The report was dimmed somewhat by the increase in the jobless rate from 8.2% in June, even as more people gave up the search for work.

And yet, CBS/NYT/Quinnipiac release a dubious poll that purports Obama to have a 6-9 point lead in Florida, Pennsylvania and one other battleground state.

This world has not seen such disinformation since the times of Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini. Nor has it seen such oppression of freedom.

163,000 new hires yet yesterday some 360,000 new unemployment claims so it would seem to anyone with a few honest brain cells nothing is heading in the right direction and a country with giga teraflops of computer processing power is completely inept when calculating the REAL unemployment numbers.

Why are the new UE numbers almost always adjusted up? It would seem that to get UE benefits you have to fill out the proper form we would have a much more accurate accounting of people who were in the work force, have not retired, and are now out of a job.

For crying out loud I can make that calculation on my cell phone yet our unconstitutional lying government officials cannot or in reality will not give us REAL numbers.

We cannot trust anything, anyone in our government says.

Is it even possible at this point to unelect the trash and get honest citizens in elected office who will clean house in every government agency. IMO NO! Even if they wanted too, the communist unions would protect their party members.

The country is lost.

Now for the obligatory ridiculous spin on the numbers. “The rate remained virtually unchanged (8.217 to 8.254)” First grade math escapes the proggies. More than .50 gets round up, less than .50 gets round down. Deep rooted desperation setting in to use that asinine spin.

For an example if the next month report goes from 8.254 (8.3) to 8.247 (8.2). We know they’ll spin positively. Futile that it may seem. 41 + months of 8.0 or more unemployment. Isn’t what we call a recovery by any stretch.
