While the national unemployment rate paints a grim picture, a look at individual states and their so-called real jobless rates becomes even more troubling.

MSM or no it is the REAL jobless rate that VOTES and this is what has this Marxist administration worried as their internal polls are getting scarier and scarier every day. This election will take DIRTY POLITICS to a new low.
And under the socialist 0bama regime we keep coming up empty, but every one of us will find the ballot box in November!
The jobs report is in for July, and Obama is busy trying to put lipstick on that pig. 150,000 people left the workforce in July, unemployment rose to 8.3% and the biggest disappointment in US history tells us we are heading in the right direction.

I am having trouble understanding what the SGS number means. I went to the website. It still is not clear.

There is an article somewhere on the web about why shadowstats (owner) started analyzing BLS stats. He was using them to forecast sales for a customer (company) and the model stopped working after many years of success. When he studied the data it became apparent that the underlying method of calculation at BLS had changed.
That is why he came out with his alternative with the old assumptions. To make the forecasting model work again.
