Consider: Nevada's U-6 rate is 22.1 percent, up from just 7.6 percent in 2007. Economically troubled California has a 20.3 percent real rate, while Rhode Island is at 18.3 percent, more than double its 8.3 percent rate in 2007. Ugly...

In California, it’s bound to drop to 3% once we start building our choo-choo.

Not to worry, Obama said yesterday that “the unemployment rate shows far too many Americans are still looking for jobs”. This was the crawl on Fox News all night, Comforting that he has such compassion isn’t it? / sarc off

Note: Blue line (top) is a more accurate figure than the BLS (BS) Stats. And note divergence of trend beginning in 2009. That is when Obozo's BLS began openly lying about the numbers.

MSM or no it is the REAL jobless rate that VOTES and this is what has this Marxist administration worried as their internal polls are getting scarier and scarier every day. This election will take DIRTY POLITICS to a new low.

Obama said yesterday that the unemployment rate shows far too many Americans are still looking for jobs. And under the socialist 0bama regime we keep coming up empty, but every one of us will find the ballot box in November!

The jobs report is in for July, and Obama is busy trying to put lipstick on that pig. 150,000 people left the workforce in July, unemployment rose to 8.3% and the biggest disappointment in US history tells us we are heading in the right direction.

There is an article somewhere on the web about why shadowstats (owner) started analyzing BLS stats. He was using them to forecast sales for a customer (company) and the model stopped working after many years of success. When he studied the data it became apparent that the underlying method of calculation at BLS had changed.
That is why he came out with his alternative with the old assumptions. To make the forecasting model work again.
