The Tennessee Democratic Party is refusing to support the US Senate candidate chosen by the Democrats of their state: a man by the name of Mark Clayton, who openly espouses libertarian/conservative positions. They say he belongs to a "hate group" -- Public Advocates. All I know of the group is what its page says; check it out and decide for yourself.
They see a Blue Dog and go rabid. These ain’t your pappy’s Democrats.
My pappy never liked Democrats much anyway, starting with King Franklin the Damned. He sure wouldn’t think much of this bunch.

But they’re probably the same type of people your pappy fought against in Viet Nam or Korea. The only difference is the cachet they now splash all over as they proclaim themselves everyone’s messiah.

It reminds me of Alvin Greene in SC. Nothing has happened yet as far as his criminal case (accused of giving 17 yr old porn pics).
The bottom line is that the Dem party can’t do a thing to this guy to stop him from running or receiving donations. Greene received donations from people who just wanted in on his sick little joke of beating the SC Dem Party’s golden boy.
Morris Dees isn’t running the SPLC any more, is he? Dees was one to respect in the 80’s when he got the convictions in the KKK (case can’t remember the guys name who was murdered.
Dees went south in a different way later on when he threw in with the folks who were selling normalization of homo relationships in the schools to the students. I had donated to SPLC in the past when I was more liberal and they were merely drama queens, and so I actually demanded an explanation from him. The answer came back that if the programs were intended to cut down bullying of the homo students (whether or not they actually succeeded might have been a different question — let alone other untoward side effects like encouraging reckless experimentation), then they were automatically okay with him. That’s when I walked off in disgust from SPLC.
I sure think he is. He is certainly wringing $$$ from it via speaking fees.
I judge this group by what they’ve been doing THIS CENTURY. I will give them plenty of credit for some of the things they did years ago. Look them up. Disgusting group...all about the $$$. Makes the Justus Bros look like pikers.
Democrats are becoming more and more like militant muslims every day.
They both are fueled by hate and always manage to find someone they can label “ENEMY”.
If democrats can’t find a conservative to attack, harass and antagonize they will settle for a republican.
If they can’t find a republican a libertarian will do.
If they can’t find a libertarian they will turn on one of their own.
