Soucheray: Chick-fil-A is another victim of the leftists
Pioneer Press ^ | 8-5-12 | joe soucheray

I read his entire remarks and could not find any evidence that he is anti-anything.

Cathy said: "We are very much supportive of the family -- the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that."

I guess, if you find that disagreeable, don't spend your money at a Chick-fil-A.

CFA is no victim, I don’t think they could have bought that kind of customer loyalty at any price.

And my gut tells me that election day will look a lot like CFA appreciation day did.

I think it was more of an intended vicimization that backfired since they had recording-breaking day of sales.

A pretty inflammatory statement against fayguts if I ever saw one! /MS

A person stranded on a desert island for the past three week would think that Chick-Fil-A was seriously under siege and on the verge of collapse, according to the lame stream media.

The exact opposite is true, however, as they are thriving beyond any fast food corporations wildest dreams.

The cherry on top is the fact that CFA is donating a large amount of their record-breaking profit to the very organizations that pissed off the gays in the first place. And, they’re using it to fund a lot of scholarships, too.

The gay lobby is acting like Eric Holder giving guns to the drug cartels in providing the catalyst that created this tremendous outpouring of support for CFA from the public...the gays are - in effect - supporting their enemy.

In addition, the petulant rankings of several large city Mayor and officials in supporting gay marriage and trying to ban CFA restaurants in their cities has done a lot of damage to the liberals, progressives, and democrats in general.

True agendas are being exposed throughout the land as the left is near panic mode leading up to the elections.

Obama is literally pleading for money and the media is full bore in hunting dirt on Romney.

But, to their chagrin, their cat is out of the bag unending patriotic Americans are not buying their lies any longer. The only ones cheering Obama on are the radical progressive and the “gimme” generation.

The entire left are acting like Adam Smith at a drive-thru window, spitting vitriol and attacking the innocent, then expecting a narcissistic apology to get their jobs back for them.

The best way to kill a snake is to chop off the head, and voting out Obama and his progressive Senate will do it.

The left picked this fight, against this company, at this time.

The left took an interview given by the head of this company to a religious publication. They went online and found this interview. They went into their hissy fit meltdown mode over it, saying to their leftist buddies, can you believe somebody said they believe marriage is a man and a woman????

Then, someone, somewhere, gave the signal to launch this story into the blogosphere and into the MSM. The MSM dutifully went into controversial outrage mode, that this company has people who believe that marriage is a man and a woman. The MSM and the liberals picked this fight. It’s clear that they wanted to intimidate this company, and, to send a message to others in corporate America, that this will happen to them, if they don’t bow down to the homosexual agenda.

The reason the right reacted with Huckabee promoting an appreciation day, and people turning out for same, is because the left started this. The left picked this fight. It’s not as if Chick Fill A had announced some new public campaign against homosexual marriage.

I would add that, as if on cue, liberal mayors of various liberal cities chimed in that Chick Fill A is not welcome in their cities. Again, we saw liberal politicians picking the fight. They pre-emptively announced that this company is not welcome. They fired the first shot so to speak. (Are we still banned from using any violent or military imagery, as we were lectured about after Tucson? If so, I just violated that standard, sorry).

We can debate homosexual marriage all day long, but, the facts should be clear to all. The facts of how this incident with Chick Fill A became a liberal cause of the day should be broadcast far and wide. We can debate the issue, but, let’s all be aware of who wanted to have this debate over a fast food chain and their owner’s opinions.

So far, every time the democrats try to concoct a cultural or social issue to draw attention away from the Obama economy it has been a dud or backfired on them.

Even with the 24/7 help of the media they can’t seem to get any real traction.

Let us hope it continues like this until November.

How sweet is it that the only Chick-fil-A is in the student union at the U of Mn. Talk about being in the belly of the beast.

Obama ran on the same platform expressed by the CFA exec. That was OK with the fag left because they knew he was intentionally defrauding the electorate.

...the gay community is working overtime to damage CFA. This hit the media last Wednesday and by Monday of this week 33 college campus locations have called to close their CFA stores. As of this morning the number is up to 40. Two universities will literally be closing by tomorrow. Three critical ones are Penn. State, University of Louisville, and St Louis University...

So much for 'diversity' tolerance and empathy. Guess liberal bigots only have that for themselves...and their pet victim groups.

And PENN STATE?

Penn State doesn't want a Chick-fil-A? What? Are they angry about? There's no rape room in the back of Chick-fil-A stores? No 'showers' for young boys...no showers for boys from broken homes at Chick-fil-A?

If the Washington Post and New York Times weren't so biased, they would see this as economic prejudice based on 'creed'. Then again, liberal newsrooms probably stand with their liberal friends at Penn State...
