Boy Scout files reveal repeat child abuse by sexual predators [LA Slimes Hit Piece]

For nearly a century, the Boy Scouts of America has relied on a confidential blacklist known as the "perversion files" as a crucial line of defense against sexual predators.

Scouting officials say they've used the files to prevent hundreds of men who had been expelled for alleged sexual abuse from returning to the ranks. They've fought hard in court to keep the records from public view, saying confidentiality was needed to protect victims, witnesses and anyone falsely accused.

"It is a fact that Scouts are safer because the barrier created by these files is real," Scouts Chief Executive Robert Mazzuca said in video posted on the organization's website in June.

That barrier, however, has been breached repeatedly.

A Los Angeles Times review of more than 1,200 files dating from 1970 to 1991 found more than 125 cases across the country in which men allegedly continued to molest Scouts after the organization was first presented with detailed allegations of abusive behavior.

Predators slipped back into the program by falsifying personal information or skirting the registration process. Others were able to jump from troop to troop around the country thanks to clerical errors, computer glitches or the Scouts' failure to check the blacklist.

So over a 20 year period, the LA Slimes found only 125 cases nationwide of perverts lying or disguising their way back into the BSA. At least the BSA puts significant effort into keeping these perverts out in the first place. At least they have and use a blacklist.

I have a much better story for an LA Slimes expose: How Many Kids Are Sexually Abused by Their Teachers? Probably millions (in a 4 year period). That's right, it is estimated that 1 out of every 10 students in public schools will be a victim of some sort of sexual crime at the hands of a teacher or school employee. Millions...and the wrost part of it is that these teachers are often transferred to another school (not kicked out) when allegations arise. Recent exhibit #1 (and there is one of these sotries every few days). Then of course there is this from the Slimes backyard.

This is a case of the faggots in the LAT editorial board trolling for lawsuits to pump up insurance costs for the BSA, just like they did with the churches. It is very likely another attempt to publically discredit the Boy Scouts -- to highlight them for a small number of filthy cases going back decades -- and why target them? Because:

• Deep documentation: They keep records on leaders and volunteers going back decades
• "Deep pockets": --- you can sue them and get a lot more than you could get from one lone sicko perpetrator; and
• The "gotcha" factor: they are known as moral conservatives who are trying to keep active homosexuals out of the organization (and that is considered controversial!), and so the leftist media are motivated to throw a spotlight on cases like this.

Exactly the same factors played into the campaign to link sex abuse with Catholic priests, who happen to be at the bottom of the list in terms of statistical likelihood to commit this crime.

Let's parse just these two paragraphs:

1. Scouting has been watching out for these creeps since the liberals brought us the sexual revolution. As soon as they're discovered they're out and that scrutiny has only increased as the disease has spread.

2. This is the LA Times - you must be at the very least skeptical of anything contained in it. The smartest of us know not to trust it at all.

3. In that vein 1200 files ≠ 1200 cases or even 125 cases. Anyone who takes math knows that when you change the unit designation you don't have the same thing. A file may contain many cases or a case may span several files. We don't know what they mean in this context. Why not say "files" instead of "cases" or vice versa? It may be sloppy journalism or bad English, but why not remain consistent unless you intend to deceive.

4. Predators lie. You don't blame the victim for that and in this case Scouting is the victim. It must be destroyed because it won't bow down to the gods of the Modern Left.

5. The fact is that those 125 cases might be because a few moved around from troop to troop. That doesn't mean molestation occurred. Just the predators were eventually found out.

The war on Scouting is simply another front in the culture war America is currently fighting. Articles like this are meant to harm.

But the really sad thing, the really infuriating thing, and one you have to keep in mind while arguing with the gay agenda on any matters at all, is their ABSOLUTE REFUSAL to see ANY connection between adult males who prey on minor males, and homosexuality. I wonder what a similar “repeat offender” rate, over the same period, would be for the U.S. Roman Catholic churches?

I know, all the stats are right there, but heaven forbid anyone should bring up anything factual. Here's something else you never hear about - it happens to girls from women, too. One of the girls in my own Brownie troop was molested by a "friend" of the married girl scout leader. None of us liked the woman, and she became "special friends" with a handicapped girl who needed one-on-one attention. Then one day we caught the woman doing things that even 7-8 year olds know are totally inapprpriate with a little girl, and although I was not privy to any further confessions or details, other stuff had gone on and we were all told that a bad thing had happened and that woman would never be allowed to work near children again. The girl scout leader had let this "friend" into the troop because she seemed lonely and wanted to be around children. She wanted to rescue someone like that. Turns out the "friend" was a horrible person who most of us had the survival instincts to steer clear of.
