Yes, they absolutely are. Remember the Holy Land Foundation trial in Dallas? They were prosecuted for directly funding terrorism. CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood were unindicted co-conspirators in that case. In the trial documnents, there is a list, several pages long, of the names of members of both organizations. (Some of them were financially linked to the “Ground Zero” mosque.) I’ll bet Huma’s mother is associated with some of them either by blood or marriage.
Perhaps, but with the objective of “prosecutorial success”, I would prefer the charges to be “espionage” vs. “treason”
