I saw the original interview and he basically stated this in the interview. For him, it was all about her experience, which I questioned as well. As far as I know, it was nothing about her personal self or political views but about her readiness to become President if necessary.

Cheney is/was the best and I'm pissed Freepers are piling on. As even you, microgood, acknowledge, many R's were concerned about Sarah's experience (ie: readiness). And--in the end-- they lost. So one could make the case that McCain didn't do it right.

We know for a fact he didn't handle Sarah right. And save it... we know the real mistake was McCain.

If I had a dream team, it would be Cheney / Palin. Get off Cheney's back. Who in the world would have the courage and straight-forwardness to recommend himself for VP. If you want BS, don't go with Cheney.

Nice to hear another side.

Personally, I think her experience was more relevant than any of the other 3 - Zippy, Biden, and McCain. I think she was light on foreign policy, but it’s not like the others were heavyweights there, either.
