I would say they are getting seriously spooked right about now - and it’s too late to recant.

first they ignored marriage protection

then they ridiculed tradiional marriage.

then they punish supporters of protecting traditional marriage

fourth we win.

“The company declined to comment about a potential sales boost from Tuesday’s event.”

They saw the lines at Chick-fil-a and realized they just lost a bunch of customers and may tank like JC Penny’s.

“Fortunately for me I never liked the taste of Starbucks coffee, I thought McDonalds was much sweeter, better tasting, and I drink Coffee black so I can tell. “

Starbucks overcooks their coffee beans, and try to peddle it as a “robust” cup O Joe. Grade C-/D+

Want good coffee? I grind my own daily.

1) Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. A-

2) Trader Joes “JOE” at 4.95 per 12oz can of beans. A
or Trader Joe’s Kona, if you can afford it. A+

3) Einstein’s Coffee A-

4) Diedrich’s Coffee (online) A

Since I would not be caught dead at Starbucks I won't have much impact. I almost wish I was a regular just so I could quit. I have decide to stop supporting businesses that support the gay lifestyle. Home Depot would be a good start...does any one know if Lowes supports the gay life style?

Chick-fil-A protests return — with a new leader and a new argument

August 07, 2012

If you think the Chick-fil-A protests are finished here, think again.

Gay rights advocates are getting some heavy reinforcements in the form of Andy Thayer, arguably the top local leader of the May anti-NATO protests here. And Mr. Thayer has found an interesting new twist that might allow his side to go on the offensive.

Mr. Thayer is pointing to a 2007 article in Forbes that suggests the firm and its founder and CEO, Truett Cathy, have done more than oppose same-sex marriage.

To quote from the article, “Loyalty to the company isn’t the only thing that matters to Cathy, who wants married workers, believing they are more industrious and productive.” The article adds that Mr. Cathy “says he would probably fire an employee or terminate an operator who ‘has been sinful or done something harmful to their family members.’ “

There’s more: “The parent company asks people who apply for an operator license to disclose marital status, number of dependents and involvement in ‘community, civic, social, church and/or professional organizations.’ “

RE :”Want good coffee? I grind my own daily.

I make my own too at home or work. Heck,I found the Walmarts generic canned brand was much better than Starbucks for a fraction of the cost

“I hope they all get caffeine poisoning and die or get heart attacks from the whipped cream on their supre grande frappucino.”

I’m not allowed to say that but I also heard from Hairy Reed that this was also a quote from a clueless lefty who thinks Starbucks is another of those crazy damn Christian companies.

Seriously, how is walking into a Starbucks considered a rejection of Chik-fil-a? I happen to love both establishments.

Me too. But, whereas I ate twice last week at Chick-fil-A, today I am staying far from Starbucks.

Based on what I read over the next few days from reliable sources I will decide if I will ever frequent Starbucks again.

Will businesses ever learn that the threats of the left are merely that, while conservatives do their talking with their wallets? Just ask Carbonite.

I was about 45 when I started drinking coffee. It was not a big thing to me before that. Tried it. Didn’t need it. Took a pass on it. My new wife had to have a cup in the morning or else. I took it up.

We don’t grind our own. Gotta draw the line summers..., I guess.

Right now I’m having zero to two cups a day. We use some coffee-mate and several other brand creamers. In a restaurant setting, I use some sugar, and that’s it.

I guess you could say I’m not exactly an elite coffee connoisseur.

If there’s an area where I’m P.W., this is probably as close as it gets. ;^)

Not really fair; they have to pander to the interior designers....
