While I totally agree with you, we are fighting a war of ideology that can persuade the independent. Personally, I believe the “independent” is an intellectual coward who has a predilection of being pampered and catered to, but that is beside the point of reality as it is.
Bringing the 40 million murdered souls into the arena will not work. Liberal dogma is totally prepared to quickly and vehemently defend their insane positons - quite effectively couched in the “woman’s choice over her own body” argument. The MSM, pundits and politicians will defend this, or just plain shy away from getting into the fray.
What could separate out the independents is the ubiquitous deleterious effect of illegals in our society. This effect results in rape, murder, DUI manslaughter and all the other crimes that effect EVERYONE, daily it seems. Put a label on it like “Willie Horton is now Jose” and you have an argument that will make people think twice.
A true wit would have seized on the chance to use "composite" instead of "collective" here. :)

I saw this Burton scumbag on TV and was just flabbergasted at the lies this guy told with a straight face. When Anderson Cooper calls a fellow leftist a liar, you know something has to give.
