A longtime special agent in the Department of Homeland Security has filed a salacious discrimination suit, saying he was shoved aside in favor of a woman who enjoyed "a long-standing relationship" with DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano -- who the suit claims presided over a female "frathouse"-style department that routinely humiliated male staffers.

Unless you got married, you’ve always been single. And how could they tell the change?

Sorry about your breakup, by the way. I hope your feelings aren’t hurt.

I mentioned it in passing.
Also it would have been nice if he’d called about it during the evening hours instead of texting me in the middle of the work day.

Oh, that’s tacky. At least you had a good time in some ports and played computer games together.

Perhaps a nice, Catholic young man next time.

I agree 1000 percent. My son, a white male, was just hired by a governmental agency in San Fran three weeks ago and already a person in a protected class has complained that he hasn't invited him to some meetings. My son, a senior network engineer, had some reservations about accepting a position in SF government, did so anyway and is now extremely regretful. He told me the man is lazy, never at his desk, always visiting others in the office and continually asks basic 101 questions about networking. I told him to start documenting to protect himself.

He has contacted a recruiter and is currently looking for another position back in private industry.
