Speaking for myself, you’ve got me boxed in. I simply cannot vote for Mitt with a clear conscience.

We shouldn’t be surprised by the low turnout.

I just came back from a visit to Missouri recently and among family and friends who normally vote republican, I see a common theme, they aren't going to vote for the top of the ticket this time, seeing no difference in the two candidates, they are both terrible.

Missouri is a state carried by McCain in '08 by a very slim margin of about 4,000 votes, out of around 3,000,000 cast. If this is indicative of the other close states, Romney will get his worthless a$$ kicked royally.

The voters did not PICK Mr. RomneyCARE.

He cheated. In Iowa and other states.

The MSM and his Lying RomneyBOTs helped him change
rules even during the voting. Disgusting.

EVen then, Mr. RomneyCARE NEVER got more than 30%.

His policies are as despised as the Tyrant obama’s.

Cynics are really just cowards afraid even to admit their cowardice.

When have you ever tried to really support and help anyone win an election?

Nobody is perfect.

Thank God you are not St. Peter, as NOBODY would make it into Heaven.

Thank God voters are smarter than you, or Liberals would always win.

Then you should know that voting your conscience is the way to go. But that's not what's in play here.

There are those who will not vote for Romney for the same reasons you probably will not. But they are going way beyond just voting third party. They are working hard to suppress the vote of opposition to Obama, claiming they want to deny Romney a mandate, or claiming that helping Obama be re-elected will teach the GOPe a lesson. And these are loud, obnoxious, insulting posters, claiming it is they who are maligned for pointing out the flaws in Romney. They use tested Alinskeyesque tactics like they've practiced them or have been trained in them. And a few are filled with hate for Romney because he's LDS, and occasionally they slip and reveal that they don't like Mormons, they're not just opposed to the ISM to which he belongs.

People will only go through the effort to educate themselves if they see that it will make a difference in their lives. If it will entertain them, flatter them, make them happy, or make them wealthier. Something.

Our politics have descended into a shrill game of “gotcha” where the substantive differences between the candidates are usually minimal. I don’t blame people for not educating themselves about it. Instead I wonder why I continue to bother educating myself on what are almost always poor choices when there is so little payback in doing so.

I can tell you that in VA, there is just no excitement. Nothing. People are treating the campaign as if it were syphillis: something not discussed in polite company. Even friends who are usually politically interested just won’t even bring it up.

Very surreal. And it bodes very badly for willard. There is a saying that there is no such thing as bad publicity. The only publicity that willard is getting is what he and his cronies pay for and the obligatory news stories that aren’t read. Its all being ignored.

Will Virgil Goode be a major Factor , especially in a close election in Virginia? I'm in Illinois and plan on voting for Goode but Obama, without a doubt, will get Illinois' electoral votes.

Mitt is an evil man. People have the right to do all they can to stop him. America is about to make another terrible mistake. The Convention hasn’t happened yet - votes can be changed.

I understand completely and agree. Mitt cannot and should not run on social issues, hence my thoughts on the subject. Also, at the present time with the MSM carrying the DNC party line and their one-sided inobjective coverage favorable to only Obama there is no way a republican can win in a social issue based election at the present. Look at all the hysteria generated over Travon Martin/Zimmerman; or the always predictable "Tea Party shooter"; or the Ward Churchill's and the new female cookbook indian.... Then we have the anti-Christian trap, the Homo crusades, etc. My son is off to college and both he and the conservatives at my church feel it is very difficult to be anything other than a closeted Christian on most campus's today - therefore, the youth vote has been shark jumped on social issues and the DNC has won that voter segment battle - again, my feelings are that at this time the RNC candidates should be very careful entering into side shows on social issues when we don't have to. Just stay the course on the DNC's record and how they've voted, and the economy. If the RNC and conservatives get emotionally involved in the DNC's strong suit of emotional blackmale over social issues we lose everytime - it is one thing to be right yet quite another to lose an election on principle. Again, with the MSM (CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and Hollyweird, etc.) we cannot define or win the 30-second soundbyte battle even though they are lying.... It is frustrating but I would not risk the election for any candidate by jumping on a socail bandwagon due to the fact that conservatives Get-It, and the independents are "middle-light".

On a personal note, I am emminately frustrated with the Ron Paul non-social issue or agreeement with many DNC liberal social positions, and the Ron Paul groups morphing into "Freedom Movements" and co-opting the Tea Party highground in places like Fayetteville, NC. However, they too think Mitt will lose if forced to engage on social issues as it turns them off as well as many others.

While many at FR think running of social issues is a proven winner, is it worth risking the election by side-tracking the one overriding issue of getting rid of Obama and his socialism.

To quote an old Navy Chief, “Wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one fills up first”.

Better to attack the real Evil that is Obama rather than the Candidate picked by Republican Primary Voters. If Mitt is truly Evil, so are the people that put him in the position as the Republican Nominee. Just my .02. Do what you will in the Voting Booth and we will all see the results in less than 90 days. Take care.

Some of you WANT Obama to win.

I want the jug-eared Marxist to lose, and the only way to do that is to vote for the other opposing candidate that has any chance of winning.
