Hogwash. Jindal is very popular among many parts of the GOP and would make a good President. Rubio is a solid conservative except for his immigration plan.

While they are both qualified for their current offices, neither man is a Natural Born Citizen, as defined as someone born here to two citizen parents.

That fact makes them Constitutionally ineligible to a fair number of republican and independent voters.

Should Romney nominate either man, he will alienate and guarantee a fight with this group of otherwise steady republican voters and donors.

And that ain't hogwash. That's a promise. An old oath sworn in earnest and still honored makes that fight necessary.

If he's pragmatic, or better yet, if he honors the Constitution and the original intent of the FFs, he won't pick that fight.

Let's hope those tea leaves are right.
