NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has picked Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan to be his running mate.
A Republican with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press that Romney has chosen Ryan. The Republican spoke on condition of anonymity because this person was not authorized to disclose the decision.

The move also now links Romney directly with House Republicans, including no-compromise tea partyers who have pressed for deep spending cuts. I like Ryan’s stances, but this is a poor strategic choice for the general election. Too easily demonized for the doofuses each side needs to win.
Will it hurt Ryan’s chances in the future to be tied to Romney?
I wanted Newt, that said, Romney is far from stupid.
If Romney picks Ryan it means his team considers Florida in the bag and wants to go after Wisconsin.
Otherwise it would be Rubio for vp....

Au contraire! The Dims already tried demonizing Ryan and the House Republicans in 2010. How’d that work out :)? The Republicans won in landslides all across the country!
If Romney loses, Ryan probably isn't hurt and in Wisconsin can continue to run for his House seat even seeking the VP. (Source)

Not so much as I have anything against Ryan, good choice, just to cram it up these idiot MSMers —that were interrupting a NEWS broadcast to announce the ‘scoop’— hind parts.
Or tell different ‘(un)trustworthy’ aides a different choice and see who your leak is.....
