NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has picked Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan to be his running mate.
A Republican with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press that Romney has chosen Ryan. The Republican spoke on condition of anonymity because this person was not authorized to disclose the decision.

I reckon I’m good with that.
Shades of the Killa from Wasilla ;)
Good
Politicians have the biggest mouths that have ever been created. It is like I found out and let the cat out of the bag before you.
Just in time for the Convention.
Gee Im sure glad I have the Romney VP app on my phone so Ill be the first to know. Ha! Like that really worked well!
Conservatives and husband are always the last to know.
Conservatives and husband are always the last to know.
The move also now links Romney directly with House Republicans, including no-compromise tea partyers who have pressed for deep spending cuts. Obama has been casting House Republicans as an impediment to progress in the often-gridlocked Washington.Lets see, the objective reporters at the AP call the House Republicans no compromise people - and in the next breath they say that "Obama has been casting House Republicans as an impediment to progress in the often-gridlocked Washington.
Explain the difference between an objective reporter and a progressive to me again. I dont get it.In other news, "conservatives (true liberals like you and me) dont agree with liberals (socialists like Obama) on much of anything.
Assuming this is true, we now have a solid conservative on the ticket...and...
a solid debater who will shred Hillary Rodham (you don't think that Obama kept Biden, do you?) in the debates.
.
ROMNEY/RYAN.
I just love it.
.
Smart move by Mittens. Announcing in Hampton Roads and not picking McDonnell. Good move for Virginia ans Wisconsin is a strong possibility.

CHEERS TO PAUL RYAN!
I like Ryan’s stances, but this is a poor strategic choice for the general election. Too easily demonized for the doofuses each side needs to win.
Will it hurt Ryan’s chances in the future to be tied to Romney?
I wanted Newt, that said, Romney is far from stupid.
If Romney picks Ryan it means his team considers Florida in the bag and wants to go after Wisconsin.
Otherwise it would be Rubio for vp....
Can there be a snitch in Myths camp?.....
He has some of the same people that Juan McLaim had..
They know how to take a “dive”..
Au contraire! The Dims already tried demonizing Ryan and the House Republicans in 2010. How’d that work out :)? The Republicans won in landslides all across the country!
If Romney loses, Ryan probably isn't hurt and in Wisconsin can continue to run for his House seat even seeking the VP. (Source)
If Romney wins and it ends like the Bush years, Ryan's toast.

Close enough for government work- I can support him.
Well, being the ‘guy’ who used to like to pull one wing off a fly and let him run around in circles before ‘snuffing’ him, I certainly hope this is a ruse.
Not so much as I have anything against Ryan, good choice, just to cram it up these idiot MSMers —that were interrupting a NEWS broadcast to announce the ‘scoop’— hind parts.
Or tell different ‘(un)trustworthy’ aides a different choice and see who your leak is.....
What will the MSM do? Turn on Romney? ha...
BTW what do you call a FLY with no wings?
A WALK.....
