Ten people were wounded by gunfire in a handful of robberies and other attacks across the South and West sides over the past 24 hours, police said.

An 18-year-old was shot in the chest during a driveby shooting in the Pilsen neighborhood on the West Side and is in critical condition at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, police said. Police were called about 3:10 a.m. to the scene in the 1900 block of South Morgan Street after receiving a report of a person being shot and found a crowd surrounding the victim who was laying on the sidewalk.

Here's the deal: they were all looking for libraries to enhance their conversations regarding the differences of Romanticism and Classicism literature and art. Due to Republican-led budget cuts, libraries that would otherwise have served as a proper venue, were closed.

(7) free food to Jesse Jackson, Jr, who is now "convalescing," b/c he screwed up buying Obama's Senate seat.

There might be a way to cut down the violence.

Now, call me crazy, but if this guy was arrested 63 times, maybe he should have been in jail. I know he was the vic, this time, supposedly, but this is symptomatic of what the problem is. Revolving door justice.

Imagine the irony of a man being arrested 63 times, shot at 63rd street and MLK Drive. Could he be one of Holder's people?

I believe all this Chicago violence is a direct result of past community organizing work. Who did that?

Blacks have culturally segregated themselves through minority victimhood, gangland violence and hip hop barbarianism, so why should anyone care what they do to each other. They have made it clear that they are not us.

Why is this even in the news? Aren’t there more important things to cover? I’m sure there were more than 10 incidents of homo bashing during the same time frame. Shootings are just a consequence of “Chicago values.” Once this values are instituted on a national basis we will have achieved the president’s goal.
