First Obama Response to Paul Ryan Pick: ‘Radical’ & ‘Extreme’ — Quotes the New York Times
The Blaze ^ | August. 11, 2012 | Benny Johnson

The first message to supporters from President Barack Obama‘s campaign following Mitt Romney’s announcement of Paul Ryan as his running mate was tepid at best.

Jim Messina, Obama’s campaign manager, framed Ryan as a purveyor of “failed policies“ who would ”slash the investments we need” in the economy. The Obama team attacked the Wisconsin congressman and House Budget Committee chairman as “radical” and “extreme” by quoting the New York Times.

The campaign then asked supporters to stand with the president “at another major moment” and solicited donations:

Is anyone else absolutely sick and tired of hearing Commander Zero refer to government spending as an “investment”?

Someone needs to start attacking Zero every time he calls spending an investment.

It's not an investment.

If the federal government is making all these investments, where are the dividends to shareholders, aka taxpayers? And I'm not talking some namby pampby nebulous and therefore incalculable future benefit, like liberals love, but hard cash such as real investment are supposed to generate.

My taxes should be going down because these investments are generating their own revenue. The deficit should be going down too, if every dollar spent is returning more than a dollar.

And when the government is making an “investment” like GM, the stock which is still 30% owned by the Treasury, is down something like 50% from the IPO price. And then there's Solyndra, which needs no further commentary.

So stop with this ridiculous “investment” talk. Maybe Ryan is the man to take on Zero on this score.

“radical” and “extreme"

If that's the case, then I might have to like Ryan.

“With Ryan prominently seated, Barry attacked him and his budget plan in front of the press and Democrat audience who gobbled up this “dissing” of Ryan by the thug from Chicago. I’ll bet he thought of that moment today.”

Karma. Big time Karma waiting for Barry the Abuser.

“That Romney chose a VP candidate who is qualified to articulate the founding principles may be the best thing he has going for him.”

Romney’s first major decision. Off to a good start I would say.

“Of course, it won’t take long for the Democrats to invent some kind of negatives.”

Right, with ‘invent’ being the operative word. You can bet they’ll be busy this weekend huddling with their foot soldiers in the MSM to gin up a media-backed propaganda strategy to attack Ryan.

Come to think about it, freedom for individuals and limits on government is, indeed, about as "extreme" a position as a wannabe tyrant can imagine! The reason? Free individuals will not willingly allow themselves to be enslaved by appeals to their envy of fellow citizens!

It’s kind of like the talk my brother and I had with
my 13 year old nephew.
Some of the girls you know now that are rather plain
will blossom in the next four years so be careful
how you treat them because WOMEN never forget a slight
and it could come back to haunt you later when you
would like to develop a relationship with them.

Obama has burned a lot of bridges and a lot of
people AREN’T going to forget.
