When it comes to general elections, Democrats understand that they must campaign as Republicans on fiscal issues in order to be taken seriously. So suddenly the greatest tax-hiker in American presidential history, Barack Obama, is posing as a tax-cutter, and trying to position tax-cutters Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan as tax-hikers.

Of course. It makes sense: they are trying to relate to most of the voters.
That kind of stuff is all over facebook, you nailed it, so grade school. Dumb it down. I respond to all of them with, “so I am to assume we are only one tax hike for the rich away to prosperity, got it”. give me other back comments?
Did he mean the closing of loopholes?
That's something most conservatives want...and it will be framed as "raising taxes".
Everyone knows that lying comes natural to them the only time they are not is when they are sleeping and that is not even certain

Look at which two are looking down their noses at America.
Hardly, they are hardened leftist idiologues with prestigious degrees in psychology and political science.
Their message is meant to appeal to their base with gradeschooler menatality.
This is their desktop wallpaper:
I
Thou shalt create an illusion of invulnerability shared by most members to foster excessive optimism and encourage extreme risks taking
II
Thou shall not allow any member to question the group's inherent morality, instead members shall be encouraged to ignore the ethical or moral consequences of their decisions
III
Thou shalt promote collective efforts to rationalize in order to discount warnings, or other information that might lead members to reconsider their assumptions before they recommit themselves to their assumptions
IV
Thou shalt reinforce stereotyped views of enemy leaders as too evil to warrant genuine attempts to negotiate, or as too weak and stupid to counter whatever risky attempts are made to defeat their purpose
V
Thou shalt self-censor any deviation from the apparent group consensus, inclining each member to minimize the importance of their doubts and counterarguments
VI
Thou shalt create and maintain a shared illusion of unanimity concerning judgement conforming to the majority view
VII
Thou shalt apply direct pressure on any member who expresses strong arguments against any of the group's stereotypes, illusions, or commitments, making clear that this type of dissent is contrary to what is expected of all loyal members
VIII
Thou shalt appoint mind guards to protect the group from adverse information that might shatter their shared complacency about the effectiveness and morality of their decisions

MedVed, has some remaining blind spots, one assuming a benign intent on the part of the Dems, and another one of having an incomplete picture of economics.
I rarely listen to MM anymore. While not a "bad" person, he is not the conservative that he truly thinks that he is.

Concur. He's more like an old 50's liberal who got shut out of the Dim Party by the Stalinist ideologues, so now he supports milquetoast Republicans instead; and if you're right, he has to be quietly dosing with Tagamet every time the original Hank-the-Shank Paulsen/Helicopter Ben TARP bagatelle comes up. Those WS gonefs so clearly ripped off the country, using Ben and Hank as their bagmen -- but all the RiNO's are in lockstep with the investment bankers, and I don't mean just the Wall Street Journal screedists.
And the Communists are worse, so Medved is kinda screwed. He has to support people he wouldn't have put up with for five minutes, 40 years ago.

Nice analysis, my FRiend, and a cleverly penned one as well.
