U.S.Congressman Paul Ryan might be a numbers guy, but he's also has no problem using racist terms where illegal immigration is the subject.
Rep. Paul Ryan (Wisconsin) was named to be the vice presidential running mate for GOP Presidential Nominee, Governor Mitt Romney. Ryan, the 1st District Wisconsin congressman, has carved a name for himself as a "budget hawk," proposing a radical alteration in the US Budget that would cut entitlement programs to dramatically low levels. But 'Paul Ryan Budget Guy' is only part of the story of who Rep. Ryan really is. The other side of him shows a man who welcomes conservative views, even to the point of racism, but shouts down anyone who dissents with that point of view.

I guess the gist though, (from the ‘Anchor Baby’) is what they are considering Racist.
Guess that is like calling me a sexist and saying I want to hold women back because I don’t go along with women on the front lines - or preplanned combat situations. One problem with Romney picking Ryan is that thee progs already have a thick oppo file on Ryan, intensified since The Ryan Budget came out.

Definitely you cannot say “illegal alien” without being accused of racism and xenophobia by the left.
I think “illegal immigrant” is still okay to say. However, the preferred term by the politically correct crowd is “undocumented immigrant”.
The politically correct terms keep changing. At one time, the homosexual community used the term “sexual preference”. But they don’t like that term anymore because the idea of “preference” suggests that there is choice in the matter. And the politically correct crowd on homosexuality is that it is not a choice, thus, we have to allow homosexual marriage, among other homosexual related policies.
“Colored people” used to be okay, but now that is racist. However, “people of color”, rather than “colored people” is considered okay.
Hard to keep up with the politically correct language.

The term “anchor baby” couldn’t be more accurate. And I’ve never heard Paul Ryan shout anyone down. What a steaming crock!
