This is how it starts. Chavez will spend his nation into oblivian in preparation for the defense of an imaginary threat. He will repeat and campaign and push propaganda supporting his new aggressive national security agenda. He will make the case that Venezuala’s international influence is on the rise and significant.
They will go broke and eventually rely on Russia to feed their people. They will then become a lapdog identifying all their woes as the result of American Imperialism. Eventually, amid national objection, they will need to demonstrate their power and influence in the region.
At that point, they will attract the attention of America. Their invasion to the north will prompt some international outrage and potential military conflict some time in about 2019. Then Venezuala will be as proud as North Korea is today.
The purpose of a politician is to keep the public frightened of an imaginary booger man that only the politician can protect you from.
