“They’ve got Ryan now, so they think they’ve got the Tea Party covered,” one of the sources said.

Indeed.

No, Sarah has spoken out about this already.

Can’t we take people at their word??

The GOP-E mantra: “They don’t have anywhere else to go.”

If I were Sarah I would tell the Whig's to kiss the whitest part of my ass and tell them they are not welcome in the New Consertiave Party after the GOP dies a horrible death in November because they blew their best shot for Conservatism in a Generation.

Buh-Bye GOP, is wasn't nice knowing you.

It should be VERY CLEAR by now that Romney is not going to give the Dems any easy targets - he’s forcing the Dems to pull things out of thin air to use against him.

And, at least to me, this makes perfect sense. Romney’s a show-in if he campaigns hard - Obama has NOTHING to run on, and needs to scare the people into voting against Romney - and Romney will not do Obama any favors in that area.

"Palin’s apparent decision to steer clear of this year’s convention

Above words are from Real Clear Politics, and I'd say that the writer is wrong. Sarah's plans for being there are old news ... and she will be there.

When asked if she would endorse and stump for the presumptive GOP ticket, Palin responded, “Oh, 100 percent in support; I’m all in for Romney and Ryan.”

One big problem with this Ryan isn’t Gov. Palin.

Oh by the way as I’ve said before I have no interest watching this clown show called a convention.

Palin's Absence From Convention May Expose Rift

If the national GOP leadership fails to extend to Sarah Palin a warm invitation to speak at the convention, it will be incredibly foolish.

So foolish, in fact, that it will give the lamestream media an enormous golden opportunity to portray just such a rift and run with the story.

Is this how the GOPe thinks it can attract TEA partiers who may be somewhat reticent about voting for a bocialist like Romney?

OMG, surely the GOP isn't this dense...

I think Sarah is far smarter than the stupid GOPee RINO elites. Sarah is out building TEA Party members in Congress that can challenge the current RINO leadership (Boehner, Cantor, McConnell). Destroying as many RINOs as possible is also necessary to getting things turned around.

The following morning,.... two Republican sources.... with knowledge of discussions between the Palin and Romney camps told RCP..... that Palin would not attend the convention..... after not receiving an invitation to speak in PRIME TIME, PRIME TIME

YOU GO GIRL dont let the men push you around. And it could be a brilliant move and President Rommy can appoint Sara Palin “Secretary of Energy”

This seems to be one of those articles with lots of anonymous sources, and no substance.

You should know better than to post it. We'll learn in due time what's between the two camps, but this article gives us nothing but speculation and rumor.

Her full throated 100% support for the ticket was given yesterday, so let's wait to see what actually happens here.

I mean, who could possibly imagine the press trying to sow discord in the conservative base? That never happens right? /s

The fact she is not attending is de facto proof she has no credential. She has apparently disassociated her self from the Alaska Republican party and is not a real part of any other state organization.

There is a difference between not speaking and not attending. She can not attend, not because she wasn’t invited but apparently because she is ineligible having no credential

That is apparently because that is her choice
