By the way I don’t brush Mormons with any brush. I have no problem with individual Mormons, unless they tread on me (and that goes for people of any persuasion). I don’t believe the Mormon bible though.

I appreciate that statement very much, because I agree that there needs to be seen some small degree of push back against these RINO socialists who have given the conservative wing of the once conservative party a hard slap to the face, telling us to take a hike loud and clear, and so let their be a contingent of deadly serious Christians first, party members and Americans second and not all of us play all-fall-down, all the time, at the same time, to be seen doing their will, showing up every time to give them their candidates, who are progressively worse with each election because we comply, cooperate and crater.

True, but in the case of Mormonism, its founders were bad people. Joseph Smith was a sexual predator. His victims included little girls and women who were married to other men. For years, he lied to his wife Emma about what he was doing. He could not safely continue these activities in any nineteenth century Christian community. So, he then created this new "religion" and still later had a "revelation" which purported to provide him with authority from God to continue his sexual perversions.
After Joseph died, his buddy Bringem Young (another pervert who took full advantage of Smith's revelation by "marrying" some 55 women and little girls) moved the church west to Salt Lake City to avoid prosecution.
So, given that this "religion" was concocted in order to provide moral cover for some sexual predators, why should any normal person pretend to be sincerely respectful? Why is Bringem Young due any greater respect than Warren Jeffs, a man who is currently incarcerated for engaging in the same conduct?
If all the major conservative sites got together to actually plan a strategy, I would definitely want at least one site out there pointing out Romney’s past positions and withholding support. So the last thing I would do if I were these other conservative sites is to criticize FR. I would have them say that FR is entitled to its opinion and makes some valid points, but they just don’t agree with the ultimate conclusion. They should say that Romney has to continue to do more to try to hold onto the portion of the base he has and to win over the holdouts, because none of our support is a guarantee based on the “R” after his name. The support he has is tentative and it is contingent on him standing up for the values that set us apart from the Democrats both before and after the election.
