The real question we must ask ourselves is whether it would be better to have Romney in the White House, or Obama. That's the choice. It's a choice between Coke and Pepsi. THAT's the choice.
For the love of God, people, LOOK at the man's RECORD. Anyone -- and I mean anyone -- who reviewed Romney's record without knowing his party, would certainly place him in the D column, and to the left even there. He is a liberal Democrat registered in the Republican party. He is Coke to Obama's Pepsi.
It's not Romney or a true conservative. The party apparatus has spoken, and once again a true conservative will not be a viable option - meaning, someone who has a real chance of winning because they are one of the major party candidates (not because of their philosophy).
Not because of their philosophy, but because of what's on the shelf: Coke or Pepsi. Romney isn't just "not a true conservative." Romney is a died-in-the-wool big government statist who has advanced every single major liberal agenda that I've been voting Republican all my life, in every election since 1976, to oppose, for Pete's sake!!! I have LOOKED at Romney's record. Voting for it is voting for a liberal. Period.
It's Romney or Obama.
Exactly.
If you say, "Not Romney" then you're saying, "Yes, Obama."
Wrong. I'm saying one is the same as the other as far as I'm concerned, and I'll let somebody else make that determination. I'll be voting for a plurality, so that at least whichever one gets in will only have a minority of the vote. His lack of popular mandate will at least make him easier for conservatives in Congress to overpower. If Romney gets a mandate, conservatives will have it WORSE because "the numbers" of a mandate support the claim of Americans overwhelmingly embracing his "progressive" brand of "Republican," so sit down and shut up, conservatives.
For all his warts, the question is not: Is Romney perfect? The question is: Is Obama worse?
In order to honestly answer that question, one has to examine Romney "for all his warts." Very few have done it, though some who have are still determined to vote for him out of pure fear of Obama, nothing else, and hold up as the SOLE hope that somehow, that same Congress that couldn't and wouldn't stand up to Obama, would stand up to Romney.
Among the warts they usually miss is Romney's ruthlessness. Romney plays hardball and he'd be playing it with every conservative in Congress.
Should he win with a popular mandate and proceed to park conservatives in the back seat like children instead of "coming around" like desperate, frightened conservatives and Republicans hope he will, ABOers would wish they never heard of Romney. He IS a LIBERAL. Voting for liberals guarantees a bad outcome. Sad, hard, but true.
The difference is that liberal Romney plays hardball. Obama is a weak fraud. Congressional Republicans and conservatives would unite and successfully fight the latter. They'd get slaughtered by the former.
I'm voting for a plurality.

To vote Romney is to perpetuate that system; to vote otherwise is to hand it back to 0bama and his carpenter ants on the Constitutional framework. Correction: to vote otherwise is to risk handing it back to Obama, etc.
Obama is pretty weak. He's weak because he's a fraud.

When you address the site owner in posts to me, you neglect to ping him. It is unlikely that he is seeing your comments.
Just sayin'.
And will you please be specific about exactly what "is happening?" What do you mean by "koolaid (sic) drinkers?" Why is it any of your concern-troll business who leaves the site and why? Anyone who posts here is free to sign out and never return.
Just sayin'.
Explain your cryptic and silly post in terms of refuting or answering my arguments, rather than posting some airy blather about whatever it is that you think "is happening."
Kool-aid drinkers are suicides. I will never barge in on God, and your implying it is disgusting.

The Michigan Republican Party (MRP) Credentials Committee voted 4-2 last night to give Mitt Romney both of the state's at-large delegates, State Policy Committee Chair Mike Cox told MIRS today.
Cox was one of two "no" votes on the committee which met via telephone, along with attorney Eric Doster The "yes" votes included GOP National Committeeman Saul Anuzis, a Romney supporter, and MRP Chair Bobby Schostak.
That would put the delegate split at 16 for Romney and 14 for Rick Santorum, after each candidate won 14 delegates apiece in those divided by Michigan's 14 congressional districts.
As MIRS first reported on Wednesday, the MRP was delaying a final decision on the delegate split until after consulting with attorneys.
Cox said that according to the MRP rules, Santorum and Romney should each get one of Michigan's two at-large delegates based on their take of the popular vote.
"I supported Mitt, but the vote was clearly wrong," Cox said of the Credentials Committee. "It's kind of like Third World voting. We published rules and then we voted to change the rules."

You cannot hold a candle to that woman, not even close.
Shame on you.
Do you feed that mouth with the same fingers that you typed all that profanity while you order God around? Do you understand the sin of presumption?

"our country means more than our principles right noW...." And that is exactly how our country finds itself in the predicament it is now in with our choices being a Communist and a Socialist. Voters should never give up their principles and "settle" for the "good" of the country!
To: Finny
To use your metaphor, it's more like coke or cyanide. Romney is bad, but if you can't see that Obama is even worse, then you're closing your eyes, putting your fingers in your ears, and going LALALALLALA.
I don't like Romney. He's not a conservative. But Obama is far, far worse.
And hoping for a 'plurality' is saying that it's worse for Romney to win with a majority he can claim as a mandate than for Obama to win with only a plurality.
Nothing is worse than an Obama win.
I'm not a Republican and I will not again give a dime to the Republican party until they embrace true Constitutionalist principles. A sign of that would be to nominate an honest conservative instead of someone who would indeed have worn a D label in the party of Kennedy, Humphrey, and even Truman. You don't have to convince me that Romney is bad. I know that.
But *nothing* is worse than an Obama win.
You'd rather have Obama than Romney, if your vote would be the one that allowed Romney to win. That's your choice. We disagree.

I surmised that based on another’s post and the rabid defense of all things Mormonism.
I had not seen the post where they say they are southern Baptist.
I find it interesting so many rebid defenders of Mormonism claim to be currently Baptists or used to be Baptists.
Thanks for the clarification.

You are becoming certifiable.
You scream “we can not judge”, (which is not Biblical by the way) yet you have spend post after post telling us God hates everyone except those you find worthy.
You are ranting incoherently against nearly everyone here, because we may not agree with you.
I think we are witnessing a complete mental break on your part.
I suggest you seek help. (Yes, I am qualified to say that)
You need to be lifted up in prayer for complete healing and smoothing of your spirit.
We must all lift you up for spiritual healing.

Funny I see no real hate of Mormons just what Mormonism does to the soul and exposing the lies its doctrines say about our Savior, which is something that any Christ SHOULD be offended by and want to point out....
Especially a Southern Baptist...

I have said it before as well as many others, but don’t you find it curious that so many rapid defenders of Mormonism claim to be either current Southern Baptists or former Southern Baptist.

Tempted as I am to grammatically deconstruct that "sentence" I'll settle for one questioning observation.
