However, let me be clear. I really hope I am wrong about Romney flipping and ignoring SOCON concerns. As long as he helps (not hinders social conservatism, defense conservatism, and genuinely acts like a fiscal conservative) instead of being a “lite” version of Obama. I will gladly eat crow.
Oh, and I don’t want him to turn the White House into the Eastern Office of the Salt Lake City Mormon “Prophet.” That would spoil any good he might accomplish.

If the Republican party writes off the pro life, pro liberty, pro gun planks, well, let’s just say it will lose a great deal of respect, and I’m predicting a great deal of support. I can just about guarantee you that Free Republic will become much more anti RINO, anti liberal, anti big government than it’s ever been.
