The Washington, D.C. Office of Human Rights confirmed that it is investigating allegations that Catholic University violated the human rights of Muslim students by not allowing them to form a Muslim student group and by not providing them rooms without Christian symbols for their daily prayers.
The investigation alleges that Muslim students “must perform their prayers surrounded by symbols of Catholicism – e.g., a wooden crucifix, paintings of Jesus, pictures of priests and theologians which many Muslim students find inappropriate.”
A spokesperson for the Office of Human Rights told Fox News they had received a 60-page complaint against the private university. The investigation, they said, could take as long a six months.

I think it’s obvious that the muslims are going to the Catholic U specifically to infiltrate it and ruin it. A common sense judge would tell the students not to go there if they don’t like it, but we don’t have judges with common sense anymore.
Just like in Canada, it’s pretty obvious that if you put the term ‘Human Rights’ in an organization’s title they turn into a neo-nazi outfit almost immediately.
As my very wise mother would say, “For that to matter, I’d have to care.”
Perhaps they could just attend a Muslim university...wait, there is no such place. Why is that?

As I recall there were no Moslem students involved in the complaint. They were apparently busy studying. This is a phony BS complaint concocted by a lawyer looking for a fee to be awarded after a trial or something.
One would have thought that a name like Catholic University would have been a dead give-away that there would be things like crosses and pictures of Jesus and stuff like that around.
There are many accommodations not made at Catholic Universities.

WTF?!? Muslim students can take their asses to other institutions or go to Muslim countries (or Europe)! It is a Catholic institution. I understand many are more liberal in their views, but it is still a religious institution. Nobody is forcing them to go there, they have a choice. If they want a more inclusive environment, go to UC Berkeley, they love all that hippie crap.

If I remember correctly, this was filed by Banzhaf, the activist ambulance chasing lawyer from GWU who sued the school over their policy of single-sex dorms as a violation of civil rights.
When the student body (myself included at the time) rallied around the administration, he filed this lawsuit as well. I don’t think any students came forward and asked him to file the lawsuit against the campus.
