Hey Rock the Vote friends,
Fasten your seatbelts, the #RTVRoadtrip bus is headed your way!
Rock the Vote's Road Trip 2012 will be making stops across the country this election season. Starting on August 28th, you'll be able to find us in:
And Midwest and West Coast stops will be announced soon!
Each city's event will feature awesome live music (and even some celebrities!), voter registration, election information, free stuff, and really rad interactive activations.

How many Yutes and stoners will be inspired by free stuff to cause disruptions and hog attention for der Fuehrer?
At least the brownshirts gave Hitler's audiences a better quality of music.
Don’t forget the last election. Obama had huge crowds, due mainly to the entertainment. That’s the only way he got the crowds he did.
As a part time Live Nation employee, I could wind up working one of these gigs..

Second, at this late date they have posted only two "artists"-- both whiter than white or black wannabees-- Jack Johnson (nobody knows who he is) and some other pearly white nobody...nobody else. Will watch with interest who this "draws". The twitter feed on the site...has lot's of "think about volunteering" ie. for free no pay. And unless they have Americorps paid volunteers they won't get many.
i wonder what would become of this movement if rumors got spread of freebies being given out at, say the DNC, or perhaps the venues of major obama/biden speeches, or perhaps even the homes of prominent democrat operatives...
fore example, what would happen if thousands of ‘gimme’s showed up at the DNC expecting freebies, and there were none...
When the Amendment to allow 18 year olds to vote was being debated, I supported it. What a Big F’ing Mistake! I really regret it! 2008 is a prime example of why 18 years don’t have to maturity to vote.
"Neither, I wear a thong!"
