President Barack Obama has slightly more than 22 days to drop Vice Presidential Joe Biden from the 2012 Democratic presidential ticket, according to lawyers familiar with the party nominating process. That is, Democrats have until September 6 to formally nominate their presidential ticket which will then be qualified for the 50 state ballots

If he drops Biden, it would be admitting a mistake, which he has never done yet. Unless...............he blames Bush for Biden.

He doesn’t have to drop Biden. Biden can just say that he has a health problem or some other excuse and “voluntarily” remove himself from the ticket.

I was thinking that this morning. Why is Biden cranking up the offensive gaffe machine?

Because then Biden can beg off the ticket, apologize for being the crazy uncle in the attic.

And cheer on his replacement.

Obama doesn’t have to admit anything. He “respects Biden and appreciates all his great efforts.”

Bite-me will not be on the ticket . . . he’ll drop off due to, oh, say health problems, going thru mentalpause, going thru old-timer’s, or whatever.

Hitlery, who’s been having lots of spackle and putty jobs on her face these past few years will ride to the rescue of the ticket.

I still think SFB Joey “Plugs” Bidet (IDIOT-DE) is going to pull-out due to “health reasons”. Who’ll be the moron-vp’s replacement? No idea whatsoever.

The polling from this weekend, and the fund raising, must have scared the Dems.

I doubt Hillary would take 2nd chair to anyone. Unless her she knows that the GOP will get the House and Senate with enough people to impeach (F&F, et al.) and will assume the presidency?

Besides, Bill Clintons own words would be played against her, plus her Dem primary ads against Obama would resurface and make a miserable time for that team to "reset" with only a few months to go.

Biden would get absolutely destroyed in a debate with Paul Ryan.

On the other hand he is useful, because he can plant ideas like giving black voters the idea that Romney might bring back slavery, while at the same time giving Obama the deniability of blaming “that crazy Joe”.

Plus he’s the best life insurance policy Obama could ever have.

Meaning we would walk with it? I am not sure about this. The posts I have read on here say that HRC would not want to attach her name to BHO and a potentially losing ticket. After all, if Romney wins, she could run against him at the TOP of the ticket in 4 years.
I do think having HRC on the ticket would make it a LOT stronger but you’d still be looking at 4 more years of same. All said, I think I would rather he stick with Joe.

Biden is indeed a drag to Obama, but dropping him — even if Biden steps down for some contrived reason — would make Obama look even weaker than he already is.

As a Republican, I thank God for Obama. As some wag on the web out it: “Biden is the gift that keeps on giving.”
