Potato, tomato, Obama, Osama.
Gov. Pat Quinn got tongue tied Wednesday as he attempted to rally Illinois Democrats behind President Barack Obama and the state’s congressional and legislative candidates.
Quinn gave a 15-minute stemwinder filled with his usual bromides – “the best way to bring a country together and a state together is everybody to band together as volunteers for the common good” – and attacks against Republicans, at one point calling GOP Rep. Joe Walsh “the worst congressman in America.”
But the Democratic governor’s speech ran aground when he tried to praise Obama for the killing of Osama bin Laden.
“We need decent health care! And decent education! And a good J-O-B for our veterans, and that’s what our party believes in Illinois and across America. We have a president who understands that. He’s our commander in chief and he takes good care of the troops,” the governor said.
“I think everybody knows that Obama, uh, he’s gone, he’s dead, and the American auto industry is alive and well, thanks to our president.”
The governor’s gaffe was followed by a smattering of clapping, but the crowd murmured as Quinn continued without correcting his mistake.

What else can be expected from a Democrat Illinois Governor.
Being Governor of a State known for the corruption of it’s largest city, the killings in said city, the corruption that placed a fledgling Community organiser in high positions, he relaced a Governor that is now in jail, a Governor that was in the same party as himself and yet the citizens voted for another Democrat.Quinn did not stury under Joe Biden, Biden is a boy scout compared to the criminals in Illinois politics.

You gotta feel for Quinn in this one. There’s really not that much difference.
Those “internal” pollsters better watch out working for nobama on the credit. When its over, nobama and the “czars” will be stuffin their pockets with whatever cash is left.

I think there’s no difference either. I mean, osama is obama with more BS.(or is it the other way around..no matter, they’re both scumbags)
Too funny considering we have the most expensive yet one of the poorest education systems which is primarily controlled by the government and now we are going to take the greatest and most prosperous health care system in the world and turn it over to the government.
Obama didn’t kill Bin Laden. Someone else made that happen!
I thought the headline was about radio host Jim Quinn.
He does this about three times per show.
