Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
My wife was working at home on her computer recently when she suddenly noticed her laptop battery power was low and the computer was about to shut down. The computer was plugged in, though, so it shouldnt have been using the battery. Following the laptop cord to the extension cord, she finally noticed that the extension cord was actually plugged back into itself instead of the wall outlet! She looked at me, amused, and said, Theres a devotional in there somewhere.
As she said it, I was reminded of a passage of Scripture on the power of God: Isaiah 40:27-31. Isaiah identifies the true and unending Source of strength from which we must draw oursthe everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth (v.28). Then he speaks to those whose strength is ebbing, encouraging them to wait on the Lord to find their strength renewed (vv.29-31).
Jesus spoke of us as branches abiding in Him as the Vine (John 15:4-5). Its a parallel to Isaiahs powerful closing, which promises that if were plugged into God we will run and not be weary, . . . walk and not faint (Isa. 40:31).
When we find ourselves weary and distressed, we need to plug into the true Source of strength and life.
Read: Isaiah 40:27-31

Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities
I'm working from home today,
so I'll be in and out most of the day
~ Today... Sunny. High around 90F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.

Making Z Zoup
A pinch of this...a dash of that...
Pope John XXIII served as a sergeant in the
Italian army during World War I.
An average bee hive has
30,000 to 60,000 bees living in it.
This population is easily maintained
by a queen laying 1,000 to 3,000 eggs per day.
There are one-celled creatures that have the properties
of both plants and animals.
An example is the flagellate Euglena,
which is propels itself through the water
like an animal by means of undulating snakelike appendages.
Also, it contains chlorophyll, a substance
as characteristic of plants as blood is of animals.
Dr. Samuel Johnson,
the leading British literary scholar and critic,
once drank 36 glasses of port without moving from his seat.
I've got to make my rounds.
But, you stay right where you are.
Keep the troops entertained and the Canteen clean...
Cause...if you don't...I'll tell Ma!
FR Canteen is OPEN
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
