[New Perspective]

I just spoke to the reporter who did the story. I asked why his party affiliation was not in the story at all. He spent the next 15 seconds making mouth noises as he read his story then explained to me that this would of made the district description too long and they everyone knows he is a democrat.

I asked if simply saying "democrat" instead of Minnesota district 7B Representative was any shorter? He responded that there was no bias in the story and that he was not trying to slant anything.

I asked why he did not simply put the same description of "Challenger to Minnesota district 7B" for the republican ? He again mentioned the non-bias angle. He said he would update the story on their website and informed me he has only been a reporter for 13 months.

So there you have it, new guy in media with bias reporting thinking it is main stream.

Good for you! Maybe we all need to do what you did and call out every similar biased story in every local rag in the nation.
