Former GM Workers Sew Mouths Shut to Protest Work Conditions
Published August 16, 2012

Disabled workers from General Motors in Colombia have gone on a hunger strike and sewn their mouth shut with threads.
The workers, who say they were injured on the job and then fired, want GM to give them other jobs. The workers, whove been camping out in front of the United States embassy in Bogotá for three weeks, say if they dont get another job, they will die.
I have terrible pains in my stomach, my lips are swollen and sore, and I am having problems sleeping, Jorge Parra, one of the protesters, told the Toronto Star. But I will not give up.

I bet. Pic at the link.
This is the plan for us.
Someone who sewed his mouth shut complains that his lips are swollen and someone who is protesting labor laws in Colombia wants General (US) Motors to make it all better.
Just issue them driver's licenses and get it over with.
Dear. God. What. Is. Going. On. ?
Compare this to the taxpayer funded union indulgences that ultimately sacrificed dealerships and bondholders.
I avoid GM given the Obama stink.
GM, General Motors is headed for its second bankruptcy. Car Sales here in the USA are dismal. Toyota, Honda & Volkswagon, etc. are killing them in car sales. Another Obama failure using “Our”, the taxpayers money, to prop up a failed business and labor union thugs!!!
So. ...
Finally, a union protest I wish 0webama would join.
Seems a little extreme, but this is South America, after all. Who am I to judge other cultures...
I guess the unions think they have this all sewn up!
