In a letter sent to Mitt Romney’s campaign manager, Matt Rhoades, this morning his counterpart on the Obama campaign, Jim Messina promised to let up on their criticism of Mr. Romney for not releasing more of his tax returns if he releases five years worth of returns. Mr. Messina said this offer should address any “fears” on Mr. Romney’s part that “that the more he offers, the more our campaign will demand that he provide.”

Sure... lets make a deal
Put ALL his returns into a pile, with his college records and birth certificate and etc. etc...
And put a guard on it... leave the pile there for the media to see
Tell them they can see it as soon as Obama creates a similar pile

Those are pretty much the exact words I was thinking when I read the title.
It means the sentiment is universal.
This is rediculous, its basically blackmail not a deal... We hound you on something irrellevant and if you give it to us, we’ll stop hounding you? How is that a deal? that’s blackmail

Translation: the attacks so far aren’t working so we need to try a new tactic to get this back to the top news story.

Romney is a fool if he falls for this ploy. He would be digging his own grave and providing ammo to his own firing squad.

It is a rule of all sports, including politics, to NEVER let the other team dictate the tempo of the game. Tell them to F$#% off. Obama has done nothing but seal all his records.
This OTrauma campaign utterly reeks of raw desperation at every turn.
And on that list should be a PAPER birth certificate from the Hawaii department of records with the chain of custody supervised by Sheriff Arpaio.
I despise these people.
How about a trade for Fast and Furious documents. Obama, you direct Holder to turn over all the documents Congress has required and maybe we’ll talk.

Please deliver a dump truck of dirt to the Obama campaign so we can dump it on you.
