A new report by Britain’s Department for Education and Skills notes that an increasing number of schools are dropping the teaching of the Holocaust from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim students.
The report, titled Teaching Emotive and Controversial History, also observes that many teachers are reluctant to discuss the Crusades because the lessons frequently contradict what is taught in local mosques...

Any school that refused to teach it is breaking teaching regulations and the law. Any headmaster or teacher that refuses to teach it can be sacked.

UKIP is a fine, peaceful party. A proper conservative party.

The teacher was suspended. I might add that this was one rather stupid teacher, not a policy.

A teacher has been suspended amid claims she punished two children who refused to worship Allah during a Religious Education lesson.
Alison Phillips, head (!) of RE at Cheshire’s respected Alsager High School, allegedly disciplined the Year 7 duo claiming they were disrespectful for refusing to kneel down and pray.......
After giving the two boys detention the school was believed to have received several complaints from parents about the long-standing teacher.
Today, a school spokesman said she was suspended over the allegations - but also for “ongoing inquiries centred around other practical issues”.
Joan Feenan, director of Cheshire County Council’s children’s services, said: “This authority is naturally concerned about complaints we have received from parents.............
“Together with the school, we will be thoroughly investigating those complaints, in a careful and considered manner, and informing parents of the conclusions reached.
“Educating children in Christian and other religious beliefs is part of the national curriculum in secular schools and I’m sure that the great majority of our parents welcome any efforts to further mutual understanding. ?????
“Having said that, this authority also accepts without question that such teaching should be carried out with awareness, sensitivity and sound common sense.
“Alsager is a high performing school with very supportive parents.
“I am confident that this matter will be resolved equitably.”
She also added that suspension was not a disciplinary measure.
One parent, Karen Williams, said after hearing the claims: “I am absolutely furious my daughter was made to take part in it and I don’t find it acceptable.
“I haven’t got a problem with them teaching my child other religions and a small amount of information doesn’t do any harm.
“But not only did they have to pray, the teacher had gone into the class and made them watch a short film and then said ‘We are now going out to pray to Allah’.
“And then two boys got detention and all the other children missed their refreshments break because of the teacher.”
The incident was believed to have taken place during a practical demonstration of how the prophet is worshipped.’

The halal meat story has been misrepresented. Yes, halal meat IS available now in many UK schools, but it is NOT compulsary. The story that only halal meat is fed to British schoolkids is also nonsense. The actual fact is that halal meat is not more available, but it quickly became an internet myth that ONLY halal meat was available. Which is not true.

They are notorious for running stories which are not true. They are notorious for ending up in libel court here. The Daily Mail has been also famous for every year running a ‘Christmas is banned!’ story. None of which turn out to be true. The Crusades were started by the Muslims in the year 630 A.D. when Muhammad invaded and conquered Mecca. Later on, Muslims invaded Syria, Iraq, Jerusalem, Iran, Egypt, Africa, Spain, Italy, France, etc.
The Western Crusades started around 1095 to try to stop the Islamic aggressive invasions. Islamic Crusades continued even after the Western Crusades.

Now, writing as one who has been schooled by y'all [Bidenism] in the past, certain stories that I have heard on this topic make me think that there is some fire under this smoke. I heard that there was an 'Asian' criminal ring luring non-Asian girls into prostitution that ran longer than it should because the local constabulary was fearful of the ethnic fallout. I recall a story of a judge giving leniency to a group of Asian women for beating a non-Asian because they were drunk and unused to it because of their religion. And I have heard that a municipal council banned a resident from putting up Christmas lights because of neighborhood values.
Yes we have some of these same things happening here across the pond, but you seem to be less than stalwart in your own defense and we Anglophiles (& Caledonophile / Britophile?) regret that greatly.

Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life.
Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components.
Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges.
When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.
Here’s how it works:
As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:
United States — Muslim 1.8%
Australia — Muslim 1.5%

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris , we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam, with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections in:

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.
It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they live by Sharia Law. The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death. Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power than the national average would indicate.
Today’s 1.5 billion Muslims make up 22% of the world’s population. But their birth rates dwarf the birth rates of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, and all other believers. Muslims will exceed 50% of the world’s population by the end of this century.
