Let face it, as much as we love Palin, Ryan is a better pick.

Ryan has been thur the national media mill repeatedly the last 4 years. Palin was thrown to the media wolves in 2008 with no previous exposer to the savages. Ryan has one major advantage Palin lacked, he knows how to manage the national media.

During the HillaryCare debate, I recall some wag arguing that if it passed, the GOP would be reduced to the pitiful state of the British Conservative Party. By that he meant American conservatives would spend the rest of their days arguing with rats as how to best administer the welfare state.

Almost twenty years later, his political forecast has come true. The welfare state is accepted by the GOP and most of it implicitly by the Tea Party. The question is how to manage it so as to not destroy our republic, which is probably an impossible quest.

I agree Ryan an excellent pick. As much as I love and respect Sarah Palin, the media has destroyed her and her voice pitch and rhythym can be as much irritating as Hillary’s. But she continues to make inroads on the status quo with her opinons and support of great candidates.

Ryan sounds like school teacher, he starts his rally without rallying up crowd. He his voice pitch is very low.
I think slowly, his crowd size will decrease.

Romeny camps biggest mistake is not tapping Palin. They will regret in Nov.

Yes, I completely agree with you.

For many voters, a candidate needs to be enough of a blank slate that the voter can project their own hopes, dreams and desires on to that candidate and feel s/he reflects them back to the voter.

Palin wasn't as able then, and certainly isn't now able, to do that for voters quite like Ryan is.

If all of Romney's decisions are as good as his VP pick is, we will be in good hands for the next few elections cycles.

I totally agree. Ryan can think on his feet, whereas Palin needs canned or rehearsed responses. During her many interviews she often sounds like a recorded message.

"Ryan lacks Palin energy."

------------------------

Evidently you'd like to see some of that 'energy' used against Romney. Earlier this week you posted: "I want to see Palin pain in butt for Romney in case he gets elected."

Actually he does. Sarah got a 10 point bump in the polls for McCain. Ryan has a one point bump and it is pretty much gone. The people turned out in droves for Sarah. Romney shouldn’t be our candidate but since so far it appears that he will be, he should have chosen Sarah as the VP if Romney wants to win which I am not sure if he does or not. Romney was a VERY bad choice.

Well, we need somebody to keep RINO on check.

We know, how Romney will lead? Atleast Tea party can try to keep Romney not going full Liberal.

Ryan is making this as Medicare election. They should bring Palin along with Romney and Ryan and change message back to hammering Obama and his economic policies.

They need Palin pitch and tone to do that.
Majority of US population is buying media narrative that this election is all about medicare.
They need to change it to failed economy of Obama.
Palin can do it better than anybody.

Rasmussen polls are first indication.
