I don’t think I can do that again. It really felt wrong to so avidly support a ticket, hoping with every fiber of my being that the top of the ticket would just have the decency to die immediately after taking the oath of office. Still feel bad about that.

We have NOT had 4 years of an opposed Obama. The first two years of his presidency he was supported by a Dem Senate and a Dem House. It is only AFTER the elections in 2010 did the GOP take the House. The Senate still remains in DEM hands.
Oh, for God’s sake; it’s not a white flag. It’s a battle flag of unification to save this nation from Obama.
Romney has nicely honed the “you didn’t build that” discussion- just heard him now giving a speech- he said when the child makes the honor roll he doesn’t credit the bus driver who drove the student to school with the good grades (paraphrasing).
As you suggest- Reality may actually have mugged him on the way to D.C.

By continuing to support and elect as many real conservatives as possible, we ought to eventually be able to take back the GOP. And by hammering away at Mitt, we ought to be able to move him, at least a little, to the right.
Paul Ryan was a good choice; says Mitt will focus on the economy - if we get that, and that alone, we will have won something significant.
