The Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Show Thread - Tuesday, August 21,2012
The EiB Network ^ | 08/21/2012 | Rush Limbaugh

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

My big concern is how damaging those “stupid comments” will be come November.

His comments were stupid. Stupid comments shouldn’t undo elections; otherwise, there’s no way Joe Biden would be in office, ever.

You're so right about that, but - as we all know - Biden (and all democRATs) will forever get cover from the lapdog MSM. No Republican - especially a conservative - will ever have that luxury.

No, FRC is backing him, and personally, what I hear and see from folks in MO, if he stays he will win, if he goes and GOP put a RINO in his place, they will not vote. People not from this part of the country do not understand this base. Abortion is a BIG DEAL. They do not care what rest of GOP thinks of Akin.

I am conflicted about it all.

It’s sad that statement has to be spoken. That should always be the standard for public officials.

I firmly believe, that by November, people will not care what he said! The people of Missouri that votede for him before, I believe will vote for him now, because I believe the average Missouri voter has twice (if not far more) the common sense of any Washington politician or media whore!

the man MISSPOKE<M he didnt rape or murder anyone! GEEZUZ people get a grip!

And while I am on the top0ic....quite frankly, all of this piling on, only makes me want to vote FOR him all the more!

The problem is that, with Biden, for all of his stupid comments, they get from the old msm a “no biggie” response. But someone like an Akin, and the same old msm call for his head.

Mark Levin was saying last night that Akin shouldn’t step aside, either.

Rush just said that Akin must put his own interests aside and think of the best interests of both the people of MO and the USA.

Yes, now I'm liking what Rush is saying.

Rush must have received a TON of e-mails (and I'm sure he's following this FR thread) angry at him for not emphatically calling for Akin to step down. For the good of the country.

We MUST take this Senate seat from McCaskell. She's one of the worst 'RATs in the Senate, IMO.

Well, then this is one of those rare instances where I disagree with Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh.

Rush now saying "it's more important that we save this country". He sounds like he's subtly calling for Akin to step down. He seems to be straddling the mushy middle...

I heard the exact quote about "legitimate rape". I think some most of YOU pin heads got it wrong.

IOW, CLAIMING rape AFTER consensual sex is NOT a "legitimate rape"...Get it pinheads?

During the Clinton years Norman Liebmann called White House press conferences, reporter obedience training.

Some have suggested that Todd Akin simply say that he failed to mention the cant that makes the rape legitimate in the eyes of the MSM, universities, Hollywood, government, and most of the ruling class. The victim must be advised to "put some ice on that."

So you tune in and listen anyway?...Otherwise how would you know ?
Been listening since 1991, religiously. Noticed his shows became the same soon after Øbama became Prez.
I still tune in ... maybe three times a week ... but usually bailout within 15 minutes.
I love Rush for all he's been - he's talked the talk but now it's time to walk the walk.
That is, if he's not too busy golfing and selling tea.
