Both Mother Teresa of Calcutta and Fr. John A. Hardon, have said the end of abortion will be brought about by Eucharistic Adoration. MT says just one hour per week by everyone. Fr. Hardon says the Eucharist will end abortion. (We attend daily Mass.) Got links on my FReep page to Adoration Chapels. I went one hour each day of (last) Lent; was remarkable [a miracle!] as I'm filled with sloth. But I took notice very well that Jesus IS there and He will help. Peeps gotta show up and ask though.

Another former employee was convicted of assault last fall after ramming her car into a crowd at the DC March for Life in January 2011 as the pro-lifers traversed a crosswalk. The latter employee, Charisse Espy Glassman, was a Democrat candidate for the DC school board as well as a legislative assistant with CRS-Haiti. Despite assault charges, she remained at CRS until August 4th, 2011. Ramming a crowd with a car is not assault - it's attempted murder.
An FYI, some of the most rabid, vicious and conscienceless liberals I know are Catholic. That's just a fact.

Religion has been liberalized. Libs have a living and breathing constitution and commandments. Religion has to stop backtracking to get more members.
This story is strange. I received my first holy communion at St. James in Falls Church, VA.

Oh I quite agree with you there. Want to watch them cringe? Say two words: Latin Mass

They are Catholics as long as they claim to be and the church does not formally excommunicate them, which it has the obvious power to do but never seems to want to do.

Things change over time. Most of the legacy charities have been there so long, they've collected all the trash. Sort of like the legacy religious orders that have traded the Body of Christ for Social Justice. An exception is Aid to the Church in Need. It's still great, fighting for persecuted Christians overseas (maybe here, soon). But it only dates from the end of World War II.
We never give a dime to Catholic Relief Services, Food for the Poor, or the notorious Catholic Campaign for Human Development.
Pro-life organizations and burgeoning orders of young nuns who wear habits find us an easy mark.

“...it’s attempted murder.”
Actually, it’s attempted mass murder, an act of terrorism.

Our Parish collects baby clothes, etc., for Birthright(s). When I asked a lady at Birthright what else we could do, instead of asking for more baby items, she said “Eucharistic Adoration.”

They are not Catholic any more. They are CINOs.

Oh, that's a sweet story. I like that. My b-i-l, "the priest," recommends going to Adoration for a traffic ticket, grass that's too tall, a toothache, no food in the frig, and/or a triple bypass. He literally recommends it for EVERYTHING. :)
