Bush’s fault. That’s their answer to all of this. Oh ... and those obstructionist teabaggers.

Under Barack Obama, U.S. debt was downgraded from AAA status for the first time ever.

The most underrated occurance of the new millennium.

What about the 20 million homeless?

During Bush41's second campaign, Mitch Snyder crowed without proof about the 3 million homeless. The megaphone media joined in. Why not just co-opt a winning issue from years past, after all, demos are once again Foley-ing every Republican candidate with the Akin mess.

You missed this one, and this is a HUGE problem. Once these people get on "Disability" and off the unemployment roles - they have every incentive to stay there for life.

The economy stays this way because the Bamboozler planned it that way.

Stop talking sense. There is no solution to socialist/marxist policies other than get those utopians out of control over our lives and Nation. If the ballot box doesn't work come this November, I'm hoping that enough States will further their efforts as is currently underway regarding many issues.

I see a HUGE Constitutional crisis coming if the above occurs and will support ANY State that tells the Fedgov to shove it! I don't see Civil War II. I see the Feds backing down if enough States just say NO! Even though we were handed an erroneous decision by Justice Roberts, the USSC has NO power if the States nullify Fedgov mandates/directives.

There is no longer any will for a CWII in this day. It won't happen. However, the Governors and legislatures of many States ARE getting tired of being dictated to. Witness some 27 States suing against Obamacare. Yeah, we lost on a technicality, but the Supremes also said the Fedgov can't force the States to increase Medicade or lose federal funding.

That is the opening, and many Governors are already saying no to State healthcare cooperatives. Yes, the Fedgov can set them up anyway, but what if the States refuse to acknowledge them? Then what? The Feds stop sending tax funds to the States for various projects? Well, then States can just stop forwarding tax receipts to the Fedgov. Tit for tat. We still have the power if we can convince our Governors and local legislatures to use it.

STATES' RIGHTS!
Our Last Best Hope Back To Our Republic!
I've Always Believed So!

Overall, Obama is some good ways down the road to creating
an America he said existed BEFORE he came “into power”,
and the device he and his surrogates used to convey this
fantasy was nothing less than to state and state again in a thousand different ways that we are standing under a permanent avalanche of “bad stuff” (radioactive economic fallout, as it were) created by “eight years of failed Bush policies”. This imaginary fallout from Bush absolves Obama
from having ANY negative effect on America or its economy:
and at the center of it all is his belief that even with a relatively scant margin of victory, he got a mandate to dismantle America from the top down. He has been fitfully successful in doing this, or at least putting in place policies designed to ultimately do it, and labors relentless to convey the impression that he just can’t work fast enough to get the ball rolling on “re-making America”. Unfortunately for him, NONE of his policies has created anything positive on ANY level. He will be gone by next year, and all his smiling-through-the-Apocalypse spin will be UNSPUN.

When BO looks at this list, he is pleased, but, yet, downtrodden that he hasn’t accomplished even more destruction.

sorry, there are parts of your list that are “O.K.” and parts that are just silly, or duplicative, or wrong to be placed as “Obama’s fault” in a manner that in some cases is no different than when people said “Bush’s fault”.

But, the worst offense is the ship of fools that populist sentiments about such lists represents, “under” any administration.

The crux of that offense is the projection that “under this President” someone is/was/can be the Wizard of Oz of the nation and by the levers at his command alone, the ship of state sails.

It is as false in helping to understand the economy as it was “under” one President as it is at devising expectations of, or believing the prophecies of what will happen “under” the next President.

The entire nation would be best served by disavoing itself of the notion that the “last President was” or the “next President can be” the Wizard of Oz of the economy. None of them have ever been or ever could be. The more that is expected of them, the more harm they do.
