MSNBC’s Martin Bashir Shouts Down Then Boots Republican Guest

Thursday afternoon on Martin Bashir‘s MSNBC show, a disagreement over the implications of a current Army general denouncing military members who engage in partisan politics got heated quickly. The result was Bashir shouting down his opposing guest and cutting the segment short.

Earlier in the segment, GOP strategist Trey Hardin had said that military leaders are critical of the president, which prompted Bashir to bring up the recent Fox News quote in which General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, expresses disappointment in the anti-Obama campaign launched by several ex-military members (groups which Bashir characterized as “Swift Boat” groups, in reference to the 2004 pro-Bush groups that attacked John Kerry‘s military record).

“If someone uses the uniform, whatever uniform, for partisan politics, I am disappointed because I think it does erode that bond of trust we have with the American people,” Gen. Dempsey told Fox.

Fox shows have leftists on and let them get in their shots.

MSNBC is completely partisan.

You mean like permitting military personnel to appear in gay pride parades. Dempsey has no credibility with such remarks. The military has been politicized by Obama.

Martin Bashir is the same guy that coddled Michael Jackson while he was playing find the pickle with that 13 year old boy. Its so funny seeing liberals throw temper tantrums like little preschoolers. They are scared to death they are about to lose, tick tock tick tock time is almost out for them

The above quote comes from an active duty General speaking about retired military personnel. Think about it.

What do Dempsey and Bashir think of John Kerrey’s actions in the early 70s?

The solution: don’t play their game. Don’t go on their stupid Barack Obama/leftist supporting shows. There’s nothing to be gained by going on with any of them.

Dear General Demsey

With regard to military uniforms and partisan politics do
the names US Grant, Theodore Roosevelt, and Dwight
Eisenhower mean anything to you? For a more recent
example how about Wes Clark?

Regards,
me

PS: I would also add shame on MSNBC except for the fact
that they already have more shame than they can handle.
Swiftboat my arse.

What is it with MSNBC and CNN giving all these shows to people like Bashir and Fareed Zakaria? Why don’t they just merge with Al Jazeera and (Iranian) Press TV and be done with it?!
