America - Oblivious to the Saturated Darkness
The Ignorant Fishermen.com ^ | August 23, 2012 | DJP I.F

My friends it is not too hard to see for those who adhere to light and right what are present day is all about (John 3:19-21, 8:32, 36). Our day has become so dark, so deviant, so lawless and yes relativistic that the average Joe or Sally is totally oblivious to Divine REALITY, ETERNAL truths and moral absolutes (2 Cor. 4:3-4, Eph.2:1-2, 6:12, 1 John 2:15-17). Today absolutes are so twisted out of proportion and words and morals are redefined to legitimize lawlessness and godlessness. Good is called evil and evil good! Such were the days in which Isaiah the prophet spoke about and here we are today with the very same spirit at work in our nation (Isa. 5:20).

My dear friend our day is only going to get worse until we as a nation finally implode on ourselves (Gal. 6:7). Decadence, lawlessness and moral relativism are now the dominant ideology of our land. We indeed as a nation have apostatized not just from Almighty God and His Word but from moral absolutes as well. Indeed America has apostatised spiritually and well as morally (2 Thess. 2:3). The result of this apostasy is very evident today throughout our U.S. culture and society and its lawless effects have decimated (spiritual and socially) our children and inhabitants. .

Decadence, lawlessness and moral relativism are now the dominant ideology of our land. .

Do not let theses Americans, who have given themselves over unto a reprobate mind; who are saturated with lawlessness deceive you and redefine absolutes for you; what is right and sound and what is wrong and lawless (evil) (Rom. 1:18-32, 3). So subtle are their lies that many today are being deceived and allowing their emotions to do their “thinking for them (2 Tim. 3:1-7). Tragically when an individual REJECTS Divine absolutes (spiritual/moral) they have opened themselves up for deception and the influence of the god of this world to their doom (2 Cor. 4:3-4, Eph. 2:1-2, 2 Thess. 2:3-12).

It is easy to deduce that the secular liberal lawless mind - void of Almighty God and moral ABSOLUTES - is the exceedingly far greater evil and threat to our culture and society than the manufactured evil straw man of godless men (i.e., BIBLICAL Christianity) -Rom. 1:18-32).

My dear friends the inmates are now running the asylum and Washington and the media and have saturated their lawless mindset on the American people who are all too willing to receive it (2 Tim 4:3). That is the REALITY of our day, receive it or not. For those us who know the Lord, may Almighty God’s Word be your sanity, aid and give us the light we need in these darkened days. May we choose to be kept, rooted and grounded in Almighty God's precious Word as Almighty God's ambassadors; ever showing forth the LIFE of Christ as we as a nation and world head strait into the Day of the Lord. Even so come Lord Jesus! is our sanity in this hour

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

“Decadence, lawlessness and moral relativism are now the dominant ideology of our land.”

Couldn’t have said it any better myself. We even see symptoms of this here on FR with all the anti-life trolls.

We have been spoiled in this country for years.
This is the way most of the rest of the world thinks.

Whether God directly intervenes or not, there are natural laws which, when violated there are consequences...

Walking in darkness is more than just injustice, sin, lawlessness..... but, the very definition of light is Jesus Christ himself.

Walking in darkness is also walking in ignorance of the truth, and Jesus Christ is the very definition of truth, for Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ.

Some context of the bible when the bible talks about " Walking in Darkness " does not mean walking in sin, but, walking in ignorance of the truth, the truth, knowledge of God's plan of salvation, walking in knowledge and relationship of Jesus Christ himself.

People can keep the law, do good, do what is right and still be condemned to eternal judgement in hell.
Jesus Christ came to fulfill all what the prophets and Moses have wrote about, Jesus Christ came to fulfill every jot and letter of the law for us.

Jesus Christ is the end of the law, and no, not in the sense that the law was done away with, but in the sense that the law was capped, completed, finished, fulfilled, God's righteous justice was satisfied in Christ alone.

All men have walked in darkness since Adam and Eve's fall, none of us are exempt from it, all of us are born into sin and into a fallen state and no matter how much you try to do what is right, do what is good can make us acceptable, right in God's eye.

Walking in darkness is being in ignorance of Christ's saving work on the cross, and refusing the truth, the truth that no man can be saved or made acceptable in God's sight without Christ, the blood of Christ that saves.
Walking in darkness is rejecting Jesus Christ himself to save you.
Lawlessness is rejecting the only way that any man can be saved, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Lawlessness is rejecting the only one who could and did keep God's holy law, Jesus Christ.
Men walk in darkness because they reject Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation.
A man who keeps the law, doing what is right, is still walking in darkness.

Jesus Christ IS the light of the world.

Gods laws are natural laws as He created all things by Jesus Christ our Lord, aka as God the Son. The world is owned by God but the devil runs the world system since Adam fell, until God in the flesh returns to take it back to Himself by Jesus Christ our Lord. Adam lost it to Lucifer in the garden by sin, God will return to mankind through Jesus Christ as His second coming to the mount of Olives as the scriptures teach.

I have a much much higher standard than keeping the law, that is ? I have put my faith, trust, and life in the hands in THE ONE who never sinned, or broke God's holy law, and that person is Jesus Christ.

As Jesus Christ IS ? so are we in this world.

Amen to that. And it seems that the time is short before God ends the grace age and begins His 7 year work to bring in the millenial rule of of Jesus Christ on the earth and we who are in Christ are ,

Titus 2

11For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

15These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion(a working of error see Romans 1:27),that they should believe a lie; That they all might be damned( condemned or judged) who believe not the truth, but had pleasure(were well pleased ,see Matthew 3:17) in unrighteousness (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 Companion Bible)It is very sad indeed to see our Nation as Jerusalem in the days of Isaiah-and Jeremiah -too proud to even acknowledge our sin.

The thing is ? in our own power ? we can't.
In our own self bragging, prideful, haughty self righteousness ? we disgust God.

It is God's grace, God's goodness, God's mercy that should lead us to repentance.

However ?

Many people get the message, or the idea, or main theme of " Repentance " mixed up with living a holy life ( it's not our own holiness, it's God's GIFT of holiness that he empowers us with ) .... repentance means.

In the context of what John the Baptist meant was ? turning away from your own efforts of trying to save your self in thinking that your own acts of righteousness, keeping the law ( in which NO MAN was able to truly keep fully ) and turn ( yup, that's what repentance really means, to turn, to have a change of mind ) to turn to the one who could and can save you, Jesus Christ.

Yes, I know, those who condemn the " Grace pushers " will come out of the woodwork and save that Grace does not give us a free licsens to sin.

No, wait a minute, those who are trying to keep the law, as far as the bible is concerned MUST keep the law fully until Christ comes back, or else they are condemned, they can't rely on the atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross, they can't have it both ways.

Those who are trying to keep the law are rejecting Christ's atoning death and sacrifice.

And on top of that ? since they reject the one who kept the law fully and perfectly ? they are the ones who are those who are lawless since Jesus Christ is the one who could have and did keep the law, and never sinned.

Sorry Law pushers, just because someone talks about God's grace in Christ, and put's their trust in Jesus Christ and God's grace to save them does not mean that they approve, or condone breaking the law, just the opposite, besides ? those who have put their faith and trust in Christ alone have a much higher standard than keeping the law in the one who never sinned and the one who kept the law perfectly.

Matthew 5:20

International Standard Version (©2008)

" because I tell you, unless your righteousness greatly exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven! "

King James 2000 Bible (©2003)

" For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. "

So you see ? Jesus Christ is talking about a much higher standard than even those who were of the high religious leadership in Israel in his day.

Many will say to Jesus Christ on the day of judgement, Lord, Lord, didn't we do this, didn't we do that, didn't we preach in your name, cast our devils.

Matthew 7:21-23

21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. "

Yup, the law pushers will say " Gotcha " on that very last word " iniquity " ....

The writer of the book of Hebrews had some things to say to those who did not enter the promised land:

Hebrews 3 :

" 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. "
See that ? " take heed, least there be in any of you a ( EVIL HEART ) of unbelief, in departing from the living God "
Departing from the faith, i.e. depending on your own efforts, your own self righteousness, depending on keeping the law.

The promised land in the Old Testament speaks of, foreshadows our " Promised land " our salvation in Jesus Christ.

The writer of the book of Hebrews was talking to ? guess what Hebrews.

The writer of Hebrews warns, that we should be fearful that we miss, or do not enter into that " Rest " that God has for us.
Jesus Christ is our rest, i.e. our sabbath.

Rest from what ? works.

Hebrews 3 :

" 13. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. "

Ahh, another " Gotcha " moment.

" the deceitfulness of sin. "

Unbelief, is sin.

Some think ?

That this verse speaks of all sin or sins, no it does not, read the whole book of Hebrews, and this chapter in context.
This " SIN " speaks of a certain particular " SIN " .

And what " SIN " that may be ?

Well then, glad you asked, these few verses are talking about the " SIN " of unbelief.

Some people asked Jesus what " WORKS " what they must do of the works of God ?

John 6:

27. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
28. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29. Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Actually ? The fall of man has also effected the natural laws, God created man, Adam and Eve to live forever, but, since the fall, nature has been placed into a state of decay... decay, corruption of natural was not God's natural law, or intent.
In the 8th chapter of the book of Romans, it says that the whole creation groans, or shall we say, is crying out to be released from this present state of corruption, decay.
Have you ever seen people say " If God is such a loving caring God, why then ? all the pain, suffering, crime, hate, death, war " ... it's because of Man's rebellion, sin, fallen state is the reason why we are in the mess we are in, God can not be blamed for it.

" That they all might be damned( condemned or judged) who believe not the truth "

Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ.

Those who believe the lie that anyone can get to God, or get to heaven without Jesus Christ, even those who think that keeping the law will save them, God will send them strong delusions.

" Believe not the truth " , the TRUTH of Jesus Christ, and the TRUTH of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Many people think, or believe that there are many ways to God, but, reject the ONE WAY to God, and that is through Jesus Christ only.

Those who reject Jesus Christ, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ are in sin, or are sinning. i.e. unbelief, unbelief in Jesus Christ is SIN.

AMEN!!! Very encouraging.

Unbelief is the spider and every shade of “good” and “bad” behaviour done in the flesh, the cobwebs. Moralism is obsessed with cobwebs, but why not just kill the spider?

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”—Acts 16:31

I cherish that scripture in Titus. A beloved British preacher spoke on that at a retreat and I always hear his voice when I read it.

Bless you!
