I’m not a fan of Romney, few here really are, but this is a great story about him and his character.

He’s also right to let someone else bring it to light.

Romney and his sons followed the shouts to find the group floating in the darkness treading water alongside their dog.

The Governor heaved the youngest two women onto his Jet Ski, a three-seater, and raced back to shore. The two Romney sons stayed with the rest of the family until the Governor returned to ferry the rest of the family, and their dog, safely to dry land.

0bama and the dog, LOL. That was my first thought too. 0bama picking the dog meat out from between his teeth.

Romney has class that is why this hasn’t come up before.

You hear a lot of stories about Romney being a decent human being. There also are a bunch of stories about him helping people in smaller ways too. One guy fell off a ladder trying to get a hornet’s nest off the side of his house and Romney went over to his house himself and got rid of the hornet’s nest. Romney giving money to people in the community in need. It reminds me of George Bush Senior. He was portrayed as some out-of-touch plutocrat too but then you find out how much he did for others and how decent he was.

Interesting. Thanks for posting. Contrast Romney’s low-profile on this with the typical dem’s embellishment of everything that happens to them. Remember how Hillary! was “almost shot down” when she visited the middle east? and how “Chelsea was almost killed” on 9-11?
