The Obama campaign is branding Mitt Romney an aspiring “birther-in-chief,” after the presumptive GOP nominee seemed to joke Friday about the long-debunked claim that President Obama was not born in the United States.
In a 15-second web video produced nine hours after Romney made the remark on a campaign stop in Michigan, Team Obama accused Romney of “embracing unfounded conspiracy theories, distracting from real issues.”
“Holding out hope Romney had a vision for the middle class? Think again,” the narrator said.

Because his father always was a citizen of another country and was never naturalized as a U.S. Citizen, it wouldn’t have mattered where Barry Soetoro was born. Hawaii, Kenya, the Moon or even Washington DC doesn’t mean crap because he is not or was born as a “Natural Born Citizen”. He may or may not be a naturalized citizen, or even born as a United States Citizen, but he never will qualify as a Natural Born Citizen.
If the correct argument is presented, the birther moniker would be as invalid as his whole presidency is.
This ain’t no joke. Obama is not eligible to be president because his father was not a US citizen so Obama is not a natural Born Citizen. Obama’s place of birth is irrelevant.

Thank you. This bears repeating. People have forgotten what "natural-born citizen" means. Hint: having birth on U.S. soil isn't sufficient.
A natural born citizen of a country is born on the soil of the country of parentS who are citizens of the country.
"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."
