No, doesn’t sound random at all. The shooter seems to have known exactly what he was doing, where in the house he was going. He apparently broke in the front door and went right to her room.

What did we EVER do to give you the impression that this is a reasonable place?! Maybe out in the deep countryside of Washington County, and in some backwoods areas of the Eastern Shore, but otherwise, no.
I wonder if “snitching” might be involved here.

That thought did occur to me. Probably not the first time if they were in serious academic competition. But that’s a lot bolder than you think of most nerds being. Also, at some level stupider if the killer wasn’t sure no one in the family had firearms. PG just generally sux.

There haven’t been any reports about her social life, just academic. Could be an angry beau, and that would explain how the killer was so familiar with the house’s layout.

Well, the article says that there was a call to the house on August 17th for an assault (no charges filed), and she had tweeted that she had been fighting with her FOSTER SISTER...so I guess we can start there.
“Other family members were inside during the ordeal, but police said they fled at some point. Officials on Thursday had no suspect description and did not speculate about a motive”
Nobody saw the killer or we’re just not describing the killer, as usual?
