R.I.P. to a great American. He’ll probably be remembered longer than any man who has ever lived, Jesus Christ being the exception.

Cue the state funeral, with Obama ‘Epic!’ speech, in the middle of the Republican Convention, to steal the RNC’s thunder. Damn, I wish this wasn’t so predictable.

I know he was a private guy who shunned the spotlight, but what is that, compared to THE GLORY OF THE MESSIAH OBAMA?

He honestly deserves all the accolades he will receive. But, I hope the family decides to keep it low key.

Neil Armstrong was an American hero. He should be given a state funeral.

Or at least the size of an X-15, another of the rides he operated.

What an amazing man. For one night in his life I was his bodyguard. An honor I will never forget. It was July 4, 1984. The grand opening of the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati. It was Ella Fitzgerald and the Cincinnati Pops. Neil recited the Pledge of Allegiance on stage during the playing of the 1812 Overture.

Not many people know this, but his neighbor across the street from him here in the Cincinnati neighborhood was Peter Frampton. Great block parties.
