The problem is that they managed to piss off other people besides the Los Angeles Muslims. There are people in city government in Los Angeles who turned a blind eye to the murders. A number of my fellow Jews are not duly unhappy to find that Rabbi Kahane, Irv Rubin, or their sons died.

Moslems hate Jews as a racist thang. It seems to trump considerations of religion. They hate secular or even Christianized Jews as much as they hate Orthodox Jews. This is a situation where all sensible Jewish and Christian bodies should be working together to counter the assault of this Islamic hate.
