It happens all the time in talk radio: a caller will say that he is a lifelong Republican, and will recall fondly how he voted for Ronald Reagan. Then he says that today’s Republicans have gone too far, and for the first time ever he is voting for a Democrat! These callers are nearly always lying. If you look them up, you likely will find that they are Democratic Party precinct chairmen.
The Obama campaign is trying to perpetrate the same deception. It has just released a video called Republican Women For Obama, which features four or five women who claim to be Republicans, or to have been Republicans until recently. But, of course, they are appalled by Mitt Romney–it is hard to say why, apart from a couple of discreet references to abortion, but did they really just now figure out that the Republican Party is pro-life? The ad is surprisingly ineffective, but it is also dishonest. At least one of the women who pose as “Republican women for Obama” is a long-time Democrat.
Her name is Maria Ciano, and BuzzFeed finds that she has been a registered Democrat in Colorado at least since 2006....

I have this friend who is registered Democrat but hasn’t voted Democrat since JFK. I think she is just afraid to change for whatever reason. Of course what she says may not be true but I have zero reason not to believe her.
Putting that graphic into historical context, it was the republican party that supported and fought for the right of women to vote.

It’s fun to expose these phony republicans.
One such time on a message board I saw one woman claim that she was a Republican who was firmly in the McCain camp and going to vote for McCain up until the moment he chose Palin as his running mate, thats when, she claimed, that she switched over to the Obama camp. (I’ve seen many others claim this same lie)
I got a bit suspicious, looked up her posting history and found her declaring (many times over) her support for Obama and intention to vote for him MONTHS before McCain made his choice of running mate. I posted my findings on the thread and she responded to that by blocking me so that I couldnt look up her posting history anymore.
The biggest tell of a fake Republican is when they describe themselves as a "lifelong Republican." How can you be a Republican at, say, the age of two or three? Stupid term that gives away that the person who uses it is FAKE.
I would like to meet the bitch face to face. She needs a good Yonkers slap.
Zero doesn’t care (nor do the Dems). It’s all about first impressions; getting there first. They know also that the “news” media will cover their arses and not report that the “Repubs” are actually Dems. The “news” media are in the tank for Zero. The great part about such ads is that they can be reused to effect with subtitles and additional graphics.

[She is lying. She is a Democrat activist and has been for many years.]
Because such ads are often copyrighted, it is best to use a still of the person but with their audio. It also puts the focus on the subtitle.
