A more correct term for American Indians would be "BC Americans" meaning "Before Columbus" or perhaps “PreColumbians” because everyone born here is a "Native American." In addition there have been so many relocation's conquests and extinctions of tribes there is no empirical archaeological proof that any particular peoples were the very first humans on any particular piece of real estate in North America...there are no true American "aborigines" only “Earlier Americans.”

True. Evidence shows there were pre-Columbian Caucasians in the Pacific Northwest (not talking about the Norse settlers in “Vinland). They seem to have been wiped out by more numerous tribes a long time ago.
