Oh I see Calista is speaking. Why? Newt should speak alone.

National Anthem sung by Ayla Brown

IIRC, this is Scott Brown's daughter, the one that was on American Idol a few years ago. She's pretty good and she's quite lovely, as well.

At least one good thing might come of Isaac. Looks like the remains of it will hit Missouri and hopefully break the terrible drought we’ve been in all year.

I thought you were going to say that maybe Isaac will blow Todd Akin away.

I look forward to hearing the only conservative on the docket Senator Rick Santorum. Hopefully this is the speech to begin his 2016 Presidential run. God hopefully will allow us this great patriot as President of the United States. After Obama and Romney, he will be welcome by all.

Trump bumped?

Why? "Business Experience" is the strongest card they have to play, and they're discarding it.

“Or is it possible she was asked and declined?”

She was asked and declined. That poster is just spreading misinformation. He’s probably getting a paycheck from the DNC.

Welcome to Free Republic. I noticed both of you are relatively new on this site. Do either of you live in Missouri?

No, I would not wish that on anyone including Todd. I understand you might be saying this as a joke but I consider it in bad taste.

JUDGE NOT, LEST YE BE JUDGED

I see you’ve misplaced your head meds again. I don’t know how many times you must be told, but those are not suppositories.

This is a huge mistake. Monday's weather will be fine in Tampa, just rain, and Issac will still be over the Gulf. Romney needs to re-fill Monday's schedule.

Now the media's trying to get them to cut off Tuesday's Convention schedule so that the Republicans don't appear "insensitive" to those in regions of the US who may be experiencing the hurricane.

No he’s not. Not sure if Mormons call their clergy pastor. But that was not your point. You insinuated that Romney tried to hide or downplay his faith by not having a Mormon giving an invocation, which is not true. I called you for that.

The Catholic, Jew, Orthodox, and Sikh I mentioned are all clergy of their faith. The Morman is a layman. Quite a difference. Just a friend of Romney’s. I stand by my statement.

Did you setup the convention, did you vote for the people who did? If not then no you don’t deserve anther 4 years of Obama.

Men are accountable only for their own actions not that of others, that is the most central primis of justice. Ironically it is why what liberals call “social justice” is in most cases the antitheses of justice.

I would not have shortened the convention, I would have worked to expose the evil injustice that is the underlining promise of leftism. I would in the same act emphases the stakes are in fact our freedom as individuals. That any government powerful enough to give what Obama is promising has already demonstrated itself(as in the case of the catholic church) powerful enough to take this and other rights away.

I would ask Americans: Do they want to have to compromise their interest in national defense simply to express their interest in healthcare in future Federal election?

I would ask Americans, is it even possible that we could all be happy with 1 set of requirements of a healthcare system and plan for all of us? Do we not all have unique needs, interest, conditions, risks, and values?

Furthermore What limits are there to Government if it is not the ones that are enumerated? At what point is any part of our freedom not perceptually on the chopping block subject to the discretion of Federal politicians and their hand picked employees on the Federal court?

We appeal to you for our freedom because what Chief Injustice John Roberts has done is to leave us with no other choice short of revolution...

Will we have to have a second Revolution to reclaim all this freedom which we have lost?
